  1. Did you know, in the UK, more than 20,000 people are insured against Alien Abduction. You can also be insured agains the following things; 1. Being injured by a ghost 2. Being eaten (as apposed to abducted) by an alien 3. Being hit by an asteriod Strange but true!

    Opinions on lpg

A couple of guys on Club Aristo run their Aristo's on gas with no issues at all. It was something I was planning to have done to my 4.6ltr Rangey.
  3. Another yes here for getting emotional during films from time to time, only really started since I lost my dog, seem to well up all to quickly at really odd things too!
  4. I bet that's got the cruise control set to cool
  5. I know for a fact that the company I work for had to work on sorting out the VAT across it's IT systems, billing systems, websites and the like. Even if it is a case of just changing a value in a system table everything needs to be testing before releasing it into a live environment. Everything then needs to be checked to ensure that whoever wrote the systems didn't hard code anything. Regression testing etc etc... That certainly doesn't come free of charge!
  6. Surely the Monster tach (tack?) seals the deal
  7. I doubt he will get an address from the Admin/Mods. I certainly didn't when I got ripped off by Terry S for an incomplete 6 speed box. Good luck with chasing it up. It's not nice seeing people ripped off
  8. SHOCKING NEWS JUST IN!!!! 15 year old Japanese cars are no longer just for the elite!! Well that just ruins my new year dagnamit!
  9. No idea if it has or not. It was posted earlier in the thread and I was commenting on the fact I must be a chav as I think it looks fantastic and twin/quad pipes are apparently chav.
  10. Funny that as that's exactly what it was being marketed as, unless I misinterpereted all the press releases about it? Also, it probably harmed the cash flow of more businesses than helped them out. Doing a VAT change isn't a simple matter of just adjusting a figure and that's that, do you not think it costs money for business to change all their IT systems, reprint all their price lists and change their advertising. Way to go to help out the small businesses out there!!! The VAT drop is the typical knee jerk solution from the current establishment, they certainly haven't looked at the bigger picture with this so called solution.
  11. Well if thinking that twin pipes on a Supra is 'chav' then I must be one as I think that this system looks fantastic and aesthetically pleasing. It looks totally balanced. Also, the Aristo which used the 2JZ-GTE before the Supra, has a twin exit system as stock, so it's not just for people that buy M3's! At the end of the day, if you want a quad system or a twin exit system then go for it, just make sure that it's done properly as mentioned earlier. You don't want any accidents with the fuel tank!

    ISPs

As a nation we're way behind the pace when it comes to broadband speed and technology. The company I work for was trialling using your powerlines for broadband, why not use a network that's higly conductive and already in place, makes home networking incredibly simple, you just plug your device in. The Japanese use a similar system I believe and see huge speeds compared to what we have in the UK. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Power_line_communication
  13. After having an engine fire in my Range Rover last week I'd recomend getting some sort of extinguisher for any road vehicle.
  14. £15k will get you a fair amount of motor in this current climate! Anything 3.0ltr+ has devalued in a huge way. You can buy a couple of 400bhp M5's for £15k now that they are around the £7k mark! Though the cost price is cheap on a lot of these motors the service cost remains the same. You can get a Maserati 3200/4200 for the £15k mark.

    N/A restricted

I think he meant arrogance not ignorance, at least that's what I would imagine.

It's almost as annoying as the 'Unlimited' packages that are limited by a fair usage policy. How can it possibly be marketed as unlimited when there is clearly a limit on it?

    what you think?!!!

No it doesn't. I've highlighted the pertinant paragraph below; http://www.opsi.gov.uk/si/si2001/20010561.htm#6

  20. Best thing that the BBC has made for a while IMO, enjoying it quite a bit, next episode looks to be ramping the action up a little.
