  1. From what I can make out: - HKS 264deg cams - 1.2mm Metal Head Gasket - 1,000cc Injectors - Twin IHI-RX6 TCW15 ( FI ) Turbo's - HKS EVCⅢBoost Control - HKS F-conV Pro Ver2.1 ECU - REYS 57c Wheels F8.5J/R9.5J widths with F 235/17 R 275/17 Tyres - 950ps (900ish BHP!!! ) I think it's also done a 10 second 1/4 mile pass, has a large AP Racing brake setup and HID lights. Nice car!
  2. Have merged with the other thread for simplicity Cheers, Brian.
  3. I said the 2nd since some folk will start back work on the Monday but I'm easy with any date.
  4. I'm going Legends racing at Knockhill in a month - looks mental fun, RWD, bike engined, weigh 500kg. No driver aids and a welded rear diff Planning to do my R.A.C.M.S.A license afterwards and hopefully start competing as they run a championship each year, at least ten rounds I think it is and every car is the same - they even run hard compound control tyres which will last 2 seasons.
  5. coolant temp probe is most likely for one of the gauges in the cockpit to display coolant temperature. Uprated turbo's could mean anything but most likely just uprated boost going by the stock looking'ness of the turbo area. Can you get a better description as to what's uprated - turbo model if he says they have been changed? ECU - most common seems to be the Mines VXrom inside em.
  6. I live in a private rural estate - just recently we were granted permission by the council to get the access road tarmac'd. Which was good..... then one day 12 massive mounds of car pain (known as speedhumps) appeared as part of the construction process.... I took my lowered MR2 out to check for clearance and scraped my front bumper (and little mud flappy things) on nearly all of them - I was fuming and went and had a good argument with all involved, as did my old man. Next thing, all 12 got dug up.... RESULT!
  7. Also, just noticed what looks like a coolant temp probe in the pipe to the rad...
  8. Looks like it's been tracked is what I'd worry about (bucket seat, poss speed delimited, poss raised rev limit, likely run high boost on std turbo's going by FMIC, perhaps reprogrammed ECU to go with this). The japs don't tend to go for hybrids afaik - that's been a UK thing but more and more the single kits are a better option. Looks the part but I personally would change the rear wing and perhaps get a matching bucket seat for the pasenger side (although this won't be the cheap option).

    Hit & run

'kin ell m8 your supe is an accident magnet Hope u get it sorted nice an cheap! Cheers, Brian.
  10. If there was a man's engine option, definately! The MR-2 is available with a man's engine (turbo'd I mean) and even with the NA motor there's a lot more useable power in the MR-2. The MX-5 has terrific handling though and excellent stock adjustability in the suspension. Cheers, Brian.
  11. Common cliche. If you drove a rev.3 MR-2 Turbo you'd soon see it's an excellent car and soon realise your average hairdresser couldn't keep one on the road long enough to be noticed lol. A real drivers car IMO. Cheers, Brian.
  12. Be a good one for the tech FAQ's actually
  13. lol, had a feeling my old thread would pop up Cheers, Brian.
  14. I finish tomorrow and have 'til the 10th January off
  15. Happy Birthday Irvine, hope the silver beast is treating you well! Have a on me Be good if you could make the Scottish Xmas meet on the 4th! Cheers, Brian.
  16. I'm off so daytime works for me too. Say Brucefield Farm, Livingston @ 1PM on Tuesday the 4th January 2005 then? Have a poke around the cars then go inside and get lunch before maybe taking a drive along the A70 (excellent backroad) headed East. I'll likely be in my bro's GT4 so should be able to keep up with you guys........ but buggered if I'm in my TD 406 commuter lol. Cheers, Brian.
  17. Good work guys Must say I prefer the side format template, like on www.sxoc.com/vbb for the same vB version. This is perfectly bearable though. Cheers, Brian.
