  1. thats not bad, but a bit tricky to navigate IMO - if it was broken down to sections then it'd be easier. A thread for Front Bumpers - then pics of each manufacturer in perhaps alphabetical order A thread for Rear Bumpers... A thread for side skirts A thread for spoilers A thread for bonnets That would pretty much cover if all wouldnt it?
  2. that was me It would be nice to have the ability to search by section of car (bumpers etc, which is how i voted) as I wouldnt know my, as branners puts , bomex from a stillen! If I had the skills I'd knock up something in flash to do the job, but I dont - I've seen something for audi's in the past which was done like this, and it was superb!
  3. I'd say a thread for bumpers, a thread for side skirts etc.... I say that because as a newbie I don't know much about the various brands of kits etc, so navigating by sections of car would make it easier. Just my 2 pence though.. would definately be useful no matter what!
  4. out of interest, is there anywhere that you can easily see photos of each different kit?? Or is it just a case of searching the gallery on here and bookmarking cars with the different kits on?
  5. lol excellent , especially the music video
  6. oi! lol.... nout wrong with the SEAT's Its only til I can afford my Supra TT anyway... Even my missus wants one Anyway, tis off topic - sorry
  7. Was it anyone on here? I was in the Leon Cupra behind you for pretty much the entire journey - i do like the supra in that colour I did notice that some of the LED's in the centre "high-level" brakelight were out tho
  8. nice ride there mate - looking fantastic
  9. I'll not be attending on your stand, but I'll definately be coming over to say hello to you! I'll be on the SEAT stand with 65+ other SEATS
  10. lol - i like that one - so did the rest of the office
  11. yeh, gonna say - £3500, use for a year, sell on for same price Looks like a nice little project too if u were to keep it!
  12. hey lucas long time no speak I too will be contacting Jurgen when the time comes - all i've heard is fantastic reports - not a single bad word said. I've just got to chose what i want... possibly might go UK TT yet due to the higher spec's, but not sure as limited on choice of specs - auto/aero etc etc
  13. This thread is swaying me towards an auto, or at least a tiptronic gearbox... Out of interest, is tiptronic a common box to find? And what are they advertised as - auto? semi-auto?
  14. Slightly off topic: Jake - ur in PO8 postcode??? Can't be far away from my parents house then.. also PO8... can't say I've seen ur supra about though?? Sky have given me some realatively good quotes on a TT Supra (24, 7yrs no-claims bonus) - said that to go to a single would be an extra £200-300 on top of the premium.
  15. I was going to suggest the EXCELLENT pdf docs in the FAQ section - helped me immensely
  16. i must admit i keep playing with my camera - no real knowledge of using it yet (Nikon D70 with D70s firmware). Unfortunately i've only got a really naff 28-80mm lens thats worth about £30 and a 70-300mm thats not too bad for longer range shots. I did get some awesome photos from the BTCC at Thruxton and Donnington tho, but most of it was point and shoot I love your macro photos - very impressive
  17. ahh ok fair points peeps... I don't know that much about Richardsons, other than the yaris SR we bought from there for my missus is MINT Lovely car! Doesnt mean jack about the supra's tho....
  18. yeh, they are usually a bit sh*t from what I saw when i was down there.. but if you're willing to put a bit of time and effort in to clean it up (i know i am) then you could end up with a mint Supra that you could probably sell on for more than you paid for it!
  19. I'm even "considering" chopping in my SEAT Leon Cupra (2003 plate) for a decent supra... but it would have to depend on if i got a company car or not, which is doubtful But we'll see eh? things may change
  20. hi huwt4ng! I feel better finding someone else on the fourms in a similar-ish situation as me. I'm 24, so a fair bit older, but new to all this Supra stuff too! Good luck with your hunt, and I'll be keeping track of your progress!
  21. Richardsons in Bournemouth seem to sell a lot of what I consider to be "cheap" supra's.... when i was down there a few years ago he was stripping the ICE out of a mkiv and offered it to me to take home!?! Probably didnt work, but still....
  22. yeh, unfortunately funds are not available yet. I am planning well in advance as said, because I don't want to a) get a lemon or b) regret a quick decision. I love the supra's - I'm one of those people who love the modified supra's (i'm not going to say Fast n furious, but u get the idea) - but I want to modify with style lol.... I'm not one for lexus lights and fluffy dice, i try to get everything OEM looking to a certain extent - make it look like it was meant to be that way, and not just bits slapped on here and there. Is it an "easy" swap to convert a TT aero into a manual? Or is it a big/expensive job? I'm still not sure If I'd want to import, or, when funds available, just keep trawling forums etc for one thats already over here.
  23. Hey all.... been a while since I posted, but i havent forgotten about these forums! Hope everyone is well.. I have had a bit of a search, but theres just sooo much to read. But if i've missed a really helpful thread, please post a link in here. Anyway... on to the question. My plan is to get a mkiv supra (well obviously ) and have it as a second car. I'm planning EVERYTHING before i get it - as i want to get it right My main car will be a day-to-day driver, economical blah blah. But my Supra will be my bit of fun, and will probably be quite highly modified. But they question I have is which base model to start with??? I think I'll end up doing a BIG single turbo conversion, so I guess a TT is the first requirement (i've read these take the conversions better?) and I do really like the idea of an Aero top. But then I like a manual, or perhaps tiptronic gearbox but NOT automatic. Anyway, this could turn into a very long post. So, is there any particular base spec thats usually the best to work with and modify, given my comments above? Are Aero's really worth it, or is it just a bit of a gimmick? I'll be looking at spending around 10k-ish on the car to start with - then modifications over a period of time. I want a MINT supra eventually, so I'll want to iron out any flaws in the one i get... cheers!
  24. Yep - agreed - just been reading and excellent stuff there! thanks!
