  1. At work he's always on about how nice RX7's are and that he wouldn't mind one. Just heard about his Supe
  2. I went with Rotora front discs, oem rear, goodrich braided lines and Brembo hawk pads when I upgraded to UK spec brakes. Im not a lunatic driver and haven't done any track days but I do find them to be very good now. If you are not driving too hard and want good value for money I would get OEM discs from Steve Manley (he does a very good price on these), some braided Goodrich lines and then some decent pads (CW or Brembo IMO). Mark
  3. Im half expecting Stef to phone and say that he is swapping his Supra for this, whilst he is down there today Real nice car but I prefer the time attack one (I love that car)
  4. very nice looking car matey. Really like the colour
  5. Me and Vic will probably come along depending on time. Stef might be joining us as well if he gets his clutch sorted
  6. Yer I do like it, but it does need to go back to the body shop for a few touch ups. Unfortunately this will have to be in a few weeks. LOL about the wheels:) Are you 2 going Japfest at the weekend?
  7. Cool, I thought Maz had sold them to someone else to be honest. Nice wheels anyway
  8. Thanks, copied the format from Johnnyknox though so I can't take credit for the story line
  9. lol, thanks The wifey agrees with you. I will try again next year after I have done some other bits to the car
  10. Doh! What wheels you gone for ? Neil said he saw you drive by at the weekend and said that your car sounded very angry
  11. thanks, I like them too. Credit where credit is due, Tom likes to rinse the car occasionally for me
  12. Cheers Nick, what were you driving then? as I don't remember seeing another Supra.
  13. Will somebody please buy this before I start thinking about going single myself again...
  14. LOL, you can never be sure about whether these things happened or not. But it is funny none the less
  15. LOL, I had a few other's that were almost as stupid, or I could have used 'High Vis Vest Nelly' Didn't do any donuts, but there was some sideways action. Unfortunately Ben missed the best bit and on the next attemp I spun it Thanks very much. That was the main reason for the video, I just wanted to hear the car as it sounds to others. Still prefer the sound of Johnnyknox's and Cable's though
  16. Damn it, the Hot Shots movies are great too. Love it when he goes on the killing spree, runs out of ammo in his gun so just throws a load of bullets instead
  17. Holy grail (The opening credits always have me in hysterics especially) Happy Gilmore, its just great Anchorman, Brick Tamlan and Brian Fantana crack me up
  18. LOL, cheers Stef I was only doing the 5mph car park speed limit, honest guv
  19. After watching a few other people's video's I thought it would be cool to play around at this myself. Here's my first effort, although my car still needs a few things doing to it. These will have to wait another year though. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rD7yDUdIzwU Mark
  20. Yep ban them. Vicki thinks im a moody git because of my hate of fire works, but the fact is that every little punk around uses them for the weeks leading upto and after the event. Always at unsociable hours as well. Frickin fireworks
  21. I used this thread on overclockers to help me a bit - http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17530296 Never done one before and only needed a small bit of help from the father in law (more to make sure that I wasn't doing something stupid). Like Pete says, be careful of the motherboard and make sure you dont use any pressure when putting the CPU in. Otherwise just take your time and refer to the manuals that you have. Oh make sure you earth yourself every now and then. I did it for Battlefield 2 as well and am very happy. Looking forward to Call of Duty 4 now Mark
  22. Im no expert, but went with the folowing board after asking a few people who did know: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-086-GI&groupid=701&catid=5&subcat=913 Takes DDR2 and DDR3 so you can upgrade at a future date if you want to. Mark
  23. Really gutted for you matey. 2 reasons not to sell: You love the car and have spent loads on it I can't stop thinking about buying it and selling mine. Vic would probably leave me if I did such a thing after spending so much on mine.............. goes to sort out loan Just kidding Vic But not really Seriously dude, your car is awesome and sounds amazing. I hope you don't sell it but understand the reasons behind selling. Mark
