  2. Hi, If you still need a new pipe, please see this thread here. Thanks Mark
  3. Something else I bought and didn't get round to fitting. Brand new and bought from Whifbitz a little while ago. £55 delivered via next day special delivery. Thanks Mark
  4. This is now sold I bought this back in June and never got round to fitting it. Its only been opened to take the pictures. Everything is brand new. 1 of the fin boxes is open but nothing has been used. Comes with the aluminium mounting flange, should you wish to weld it to IC piping. This has the standard fin, + 2 extra fins. £220 delivered and I will post it out the next working day from payment. Will be sent special next day delivery which insures automatically for up to £500. Just to add, this is a Supra specific BOV. Thanks Mark
  5. Its a very simple job to do really. Old ones come out easy and the bulk of your time is usually spent fixing the rails to the seats. Then just drop them in and attach the bolts.

    top gear

Oh god, I never want the days of Tiff and Quentin back I really enjoyed it and love the current stype of Top Gear. A few specials here and there, as well as super cars.
  7. Reduced to £11995 ono Ok it is with great sadness that I now list my car for sale. I bought the car at Japanese auction in July 2006, through Jurgen at http://www.jm-imports.co.uk. The car then arrived with me at the beginning of October 2006. I paid £11k for it at the time, which included a Toad AI606 CAT 1 alarm / immobiliser and brand new Avon ZZ3 rear tyres. During the course of my years ownership I spent the best part of £10500. Most of this was down to me enjoying modifying my car and only 3 purchases were down to parts failure. The items that needed replacing were as follows: -Clutch -Drivers side rear wheel bearing and drive hub -Rocker cover gasket Everything else was done for my own pleasure or as basic maintenance. I pretty much use the car most days and have covered about 6500 miles since owning it, so a lot of the items on the car are like new. This is one of the reasons I am selling it, since we may be having our second child next year and it is just not a practical car for a new born and 4 year old. I will do my ad slightly differently and cover any bad points first. Minor salt degridation of drivers side rear wheel. 2 kerbed alloys (minor and done by previous owner). Very slight rattle from boot rubber (barely noticeable though). Lights could do with refurb but you can only notice this when up close. That is pretty much it as the bodywork is perfect due to it having had a full respray under 3 months ago. Specification Items on the car at time of purchase -18" BBS LM alloy wheels (very expensive and one of the reasons I bought the car). -Apexi boost gauge -Apexi AFC -OEM side skirts (genuine I believe) -OEM spats (also genunine) What I have done during the year -added boot install from previous Supra. This comprises of: 2x 1000w JBL speakers in custom box, 600w JBL amp and a capacitor. These are mounted on a custom base that fits the boot and can be lifted out in one piece. Greddy 2 Row intercooler Standard air box HKS Carbon Ti exhaust RPS Street clutch RPS flywheel HKS EVC5 boost controller APE aluminium shifter bushes Replacement clutch items (ie release bearing etc) TRD oil cap Alpine 9850i head unit Thor fuel cut defencer Walbro fuel Pump NGK Platinum spark plugs UK Spec brakes calipers all round Rotora brake discs for front OEM UK spec discs for rear Brembo Hawk brake pads all round Goodrich brake hoses and new DOT 5.1 fluid Cambelt and Auxiliary belts replaced Rocker cover gasket, oil and gearbox oil change Envy 3" decats Carbon fibre radiator cover Genuine Abflug wing Facelift lights Bride Euro II reclining seats TRD gear knob Tyres - 2 x Falken 452 for front Respray Power Enterprise oil filter Valvoline 5/50 oil Greddy Air Filter O2 sensor Tein front strut brace Alpine SXE-1725S 6.5" rear speakers MOMO Race 3000 steering wheel MVP magnesium alloy dial surrounds Chris wilson 1.2 bar restrictor ring Full respray, blending of front lip with oem bumper, removal and filling of rear wiper and ariel. I have receipts for pretty much everything and have a record of when everything was bought, fitted, at what mileage, where fitted and at what cost. At the time of Thor fitting the boost controller I had the car dyno'd. The results were as follows: 400bhp at 5633rpm 418.1 ft/lb torque at 4229rpm I pretty much run at just under 1 bar most of the time (boost controller off) and only go to 1.2bar for the odd spirited drive. Any work done on the car has either been done by Mark at Phoenix or Thor. Car went through the MOT last month without any problems. If you would like to ask anything then please feel free to give me a call or send me an email / PM. I will also be happy to provide any additional photos on request. I am open to sensible offers but will be in no rush to see my car go. Link to video I recently made (not brilliant I know ) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rD7yDUdIzwU Thanks for looking Mark
  8. I will donate when I get home. Why do people feel that they have to hide behind charity type events to be able to grow a tash??? I might start growing one again now just for a laugh Good on you anyway for doing something for charity
  9. No idea on PS3 reliability but I would imagine that its pretty good. My first 360 died after a year and was sent back. I then received a new 360 which is still doing fine. Also have one for my son which is working fine at the minute. We play between 10 and 20 hours per week (I spend more time on it than he does becasue of his early bed time etc). You do have to make sure that they receive plenty of ventilation as this is what typically kills them. My brother Cable has both and I am impressed with the PS3 (especially Blu-ray), but there just aren't enough games out yet. I think this will always be the case as the development time required to code for the PS3 is a lot longer than for the Xbox 360.
  10. Well after much debating with myself I have decided that the Supra will definately be going. I will put it up for sale in the coming weeks I think but do not think it will sell until the new year to be honest. At least I won't be in a rush to see it go and therefore won't be trying to sell it at a stupidly low price I think I will try to sell it as it is at first but if needs be will put the original seats back in and sell the Bride's seperately. The thing that really got me thinking was the safety of the car and the ease in which it gets to silly speeds (started thinking about it after reading the thread about Karl). I wont be able to do silly speeds in the DC5 and therefore wont even try. It just got me thinking about how easily things like that can happen and that I really would not want to jeapordise my kid(s) (if we have another one next year) just to indulge my taste for speed. Don't get me wrong, things can obviously go wrong in the Integra, but I would hope that it would be a little less likely and a little safer inside if it does. I will be very sad to see it go but I need to be a little more sensible I think. Its not the end of the world anyway, and if I start earning silly amounts of money in the coming years, I may well buy another to be purely used as a trackday fun car etc. Mark
  11. LOL, I had thought about this but was too lazy Anyway, my car tuned out alright and Vicki's car is now white with a few brown patches here and there. But at least the huge bird dump is gone
  12. LOL, good idea It only helps for one side of the car though
  13. LMOA, it was too dark to get a picture and our camera is rubbish at night
  14. Job done Although we will have to wait and see how good a job it was. Plus I can pretty much guarentee that next doors cat will probably walk on the bonnet over night. Will just mean that I have to wash the bonnet in the morning I was thinking about those sort of lights whilst I was out there Michael. The head torch just wasn't very good. I was better off setting off next doors security light every 30 seconds
  15. Just found out that a friend of my wifes has just had his done last week. Funnily enough, it was shortly after visiting said BP garage......
  16. hmmm, I think inspector Sparke will have to investigate shut it Nick, it hurt to put ultimate in , especially since it always costs more than optimax from the Narborough station
  17. I have actually used that garage only a month or so ago. Its the first time I have used the BP garage and it was only because my tank was almost empty. There is one other common element here, and thats you matey Dodgy little pikey Mark
  18. you little bugger Nelly. I knew this was the work of my little jewish brother Oh forgot to mention that mum was in a rage about you earlier for almost 10 minutes because I told her that you had just dyed your hair green before your big interview
  19. I think I will be doing the same from now on. I just never expected it to happen to me. I rip up most of my receipts and bills etc into small pieces and get very wary of anyone calling me saying that they are from my credit card company etc. When the lady called earlier to ask me details to confirm who I am etc, I called them back via the number on the back of the card just so there was no chance of me being 'had' over the phone.
  20. lol, considering its not their money I thought it was kind of tight. They could have at least donated £5
  21. Yer, the fraud guy just said don't worry about it and that they would amend my balance accordingly. Where do you stand if this kind of thing happens with your debit card? Does the bank / building society cover you or is it just tough luck?? Mark
  22. Just got a call today from my credit card company to say that I am over my balance. I pretty much knew straight away that something was iffy as I had not used for about a month and knew it only had a few hundred pounds left on it. Theres about £500 worth of transactions to various internet based telecoms sites (im gussing someone has been buying mobile phones). Then a few failed transactions to slender world (trying to tell me something). Cheeky buggers even kindly donated £1 to comic relief or something. At least it is all covered. Mark
  23. lol, I know. I just don't get it when people say romance is dead
