  1. I'm in and paid. Just booked into the travel lodge. £35 squid. All the cheap ones had gone
  2. Oh dear... that makes it even worse. Gutted for you mate.
  3. Another one bites the dust. Such a nice looking example (before the crash that is!) Glad you're ok mate but I certainly would not be reporting exceeding the spped limit on a public forum.
  4. Did anyone else get a pm from this newbie as below? I'm looking at his email addy and thinking general147ay@..... Hello Angel Hi baby hope you are doing fine today i would have love to have a private discussion with you i don't know if you can write to me in my email: [email protected]. i will be very happy to hear from you yours lovely General As such I will refrain from a welcome until I check his Pecs out ... or maybe this guy likes triple breasted women and my avatar confused him
  5. You're not being racist though... just sexist
  6. I am using my bold to view and type this. Great phone but I started typing 10 minutes ago
  7. Mine arrived yesterday as well. Thanks Terry, great price by the way!
  8. Too cold to stand around plus my car is filthy. So it's a sad no from me.
  9. I have a Philips and it's bloody complicated (and slow) comnpared to my Mums Panasonic.
  10. For stealing the name of a 1980's electronic show host
  11. We had this in our village recently. Flat bed truck pulls up just past the pothole, young geezer who was stood on the back with a fag hanging out of his mouth, threw a shovel load of tarmac down into the hole. Van reversed back over the repair and then drove off, job done. It only took them half an hour to fix around 10 potholes using this method. Wonderful efficiency I thought until All the tarmac was out of the holeS after a couple of days. What a waste of money and time!
  12. Can I add a dimmer control knob to the anologue clock surround please... have pm'd you. Oh, and an ignition surround please
  13. Quicksilver Vs Gunmetal?
  14. Why would you want a Porsche when you can get this for less than £20k and with only 28K on the clock http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/726421.htm http://images.pistonheads.com/aimg/726/726421-3.jpg
  15. He's talking power so you know it's gonna have to be a single
  16. I will also add though, that despite the traction control being set on the highest, I had two little sideways movements onn the way to work yesterday on black ice travelling around 25mph. The only way you'll grip on that is with chains or spikes I guess!
  17. Glad your ok mate. I would say though, that you said nothing could have helped in this situation, but never underestimate what RLTC can do. I had the same problem in the damp, let alone ice, rear end twitching, trying to escape, and the change since having RLTC fitted is phenomonal. I also make sure both rears are of equal tread / pressures, because if not, thats also not helpful. Advice perhaps a bit late now I fear.... but very happy your ok.
  18. I got one off him recently for £25 and it was nothing like the one I lost. Don't know whether its a facelift thing but my old one was contoured and had sound reduction padding in some of the areas. The one which I received looked worse than my original even though that was in two halfs and had been dragged around llandow track for half a day.
  19. How amazing... have another look, you may find a male chicken next time.

    Hi

Great to have you on board now you have got a proper engine
  21. I can't see T cut getting the damage out based on the last picture. You need something to sharpen the focus - turtle wax treatment perhaps. This is a dilemna: On the one hand, I'd get a quote from the guys you want it done by and then let her know for her to make the call. She may be paying such a low premium or even have NCB protection. If not, it's not really your problem. On the other hand... what kind of person waits for the owner to return nowadays after bumping a car. Also, as a friend or your nans, you should make this as painless as possible for her. So, if she doesn't have to wear coats in her bed because she can't afford the heating, then the second is in order, if she is 'comfortably off' then go for the first.
