OK Guys, How many are going up to the pod on Saturday 18th for some fun on the drag strip. You don't have to burn it up, it's just that you won't own a supra forever and going up the strip is such a fun thing to do. (A memory for life!) Watching is nearly as much fun as well as seeing all the cars. We could make a real day of it, decent convoy, maybe even camp the night before if enough are up for it. All we need is a few to start this and POWWW It could be the best Welsh meet for years. So now I've talked you all out of it... Anyone up for teaching the English how to party?

Going back to the noise issue... Is there any way I can quieten down the screamer pipe without fabricating it back into the exhaust? I can make the db limit but only if I stay on 2/3rd loud pedal! Oh, and has anyone got a spare lid for my lad please.

Thanks Steve for the info... Looking really good. As a relatively local guy (about 40 miles away in Abergavenny) I can tell you guys who are coming over the 7 bridge that when you get to Newport you will go through a tunnel . If you get off the M4 straight after this and head left into Newport, within half a mile you will find a Shell garage on the right selling V Power. I also have a spare room with a double bed in it and another room with two 6 foot long beanbags. If any of you are stuck (or skint) for somewhere to stay you will be made most welcome by me and I'll try to get the missus not to glare at you too often! (slightly antisupra after I spent all our savings).

Sorry to hear this mate. But the moral of the story (from Jon's perspective) is unless you want to be badged as untrustworthy, as the man who breaks his word, as a renegade etc. then never, ever, listen to your missus!
