ok, I think I need to wander past the first turning for CC and meet up with the big convoy from Reading on the 2nd junction so I'll take my chance. I'm sure I'll meet up with some civics I can take the p*ss out of
  3. 17's all the way for me, I may have been dreaming it but I couldn't tell if the grip was any better but the ride comfort improved. I have a straight A road where I cruise at 75 leptons and the road has small hump every 50 yds or so. The car seemed to smooth out with the 17's on bit I do agree that from a pure looks point of view, the bigger the better. That said, I prefer to stay on the road
  4. Are you sure it was snot... and more importantly, are you sure it was your nose?

are you guys stopping at magor services?
  6. I have a 4088dbb so am obviously alarmed by this news. I am sure that mine was sourced direct from Garrett so my fingers will remain crossed. I am a litle confused by your cone filter and wondered if this has the potential of letting small particles through to the blades.
  7. I'm looking to join suprsonic for the singleton show (despite the weather warnings). Will have to see how the day pans out re meeting at the Toby or somewhere later. Give us a ring a couple of hours before, Jon (downimpact)

  10. no no mate, you put your head in there... it's my turn to do the shovin'
  11. I changed mine for the first time recently so this is the process I followed: Undo the power steering reservoir and move it Put your hand in your pocket and pull out a fiver Give this to your brother in law and tell him to swap the filters Move back reservoir and tighten Job done
  12. How about Bling Bling I appreciate it only realy works if you imagine a Japanese trimphone but you've always been partial to trim. Shimmering Knight very little to do with the business but excellent for your ego and finally schoolgirlsex.con.dom - you may not sell much but think of the increased hits on the website
  13. INterested in the rear brake disks. Don't suppose you have the calipers as well? Are you going to Japfest as postage would be hefty but worth the trip of it's more than the discs
  14. I really hope it is just the electronics, as I had a similar problem and it ended up as a cracked second turbo which was not holding pressure. All the best mate (though it did force me to go single;))
  15. Thanks for thatI I was just going to bed
  16. Hiya guys, I might be up for this on the Sunday. Those pics you put up Jon are surely of the road between Beaufort and Builch aren't they. Never thought of those as the Beacons.... more of a large field for sheep IIRC
  17. Have you still got the old rear ones matey
  18. This kept happening to mine and it was due to the pipes splitting close to the turbo around the jubillee clip. I know I should get some aero quip braided hoses but they are a tad costly. I have managed to stop this temporarily by taking the turbo beanie off as this seemed to focus the heat at the pont of breakage. I hear other members say that upgrading the rad cap moves the pressure elsewhere and I guess this became my least point of resistance. As BBT stated though. once you switch off it then blows, not so bad in the driveway but once I went to a garage, turned my back, and on turning back noticed the steam pouring out of the bonnet and a crowd gathering. That's bad enough, but having to fend off an enthusiastic fellow motorist who had grabbed the fire extinguisher and was about to set it off was more of a problem... guess he was also a St Johns Ambulance man in his spare time
