I looking for a set of these. Unfortunatly I cant afford to take the car of the road as I need it for work so really I need some on an exchange basis where im sent the covers and then send mine back when the chrome ones are fitted.

The leak is around the back of the engine I think. I did my plugs a couple of month ago and found oil in the back plug hole and in the space between the cam covers. I bought a set of rocker gasketsand will be changing them in thenext couple of weeks While im on I think ill paint my rocker covers. I was going to get them chromed/ polished but cant afford my car being off the road for long. Anyone know where \i can get an exchange where im sent the polished ones and them I can fit them and send mine to them when they are fitted. I know envy used to do it but when I phones I was told someone bought the covers but didnt return there own, so they dont do it anymore.

Are their any common places on the jspec TT for oil leaks. theres been bits of oil dripped on my garage floor for a few weeks now, not a great deal but its there. Anyone help.

Anyone else got any ideas as I wouldnt mind fitting mine back on.

Ive just fitted a fmic my self and am gutted I cant fit my active spoiler back on. Ive tried all ways but the brackets wont go on with the hard pipes from the intercooler. I have read that people have put it back on but have no idea how. All I can think is that you attatch it to the bumper some how.

Can someone please tell me what this is and what it does. Have heard them mentioned alot in the last couple of weeks.

Ive replaced the airvent with an 80mm greddy 1 great fit looks the biz.

Ive got 275/30/19s on mine and had the same problem. I took it to work and used a polifan to polish away the lip inside the arch. this was only after I spend a fortune on 4 new struts thinking this would cure the porblem. Using a polifan took around 10mins to do both sides. Whne I got home I undersealed them andpainted um to keep the job right. But if I have the car full of people, which aint often if I hi t a big dip in the road the still catch abit but as I said only on a full load.

Ive had the same problem as you mate exactly those symtems. I changed all the coil pack connectors, plugs and checked all intercooler hoses and vacume pipes also reset the ecu. But if you reset ecu remember it will take about 10 mins for it to learn itself again.

So far offers are :- £30 + postage for intercooler piping. £50 + postage for front spoiler. Plenty of interest in the intercooler but no solid offers. I will leave it until tonight and the best offers take the bits. Anyone interested in them or the other bits P.M me with an offer.

Bought a hybrid kit from anew digital off ebay fitted like a dream. Only thing I had to replace was my header tank for a smaller 1.

Use a current light. There really cheap only about a quid or so. Earth the wire onto the body work touch the pen in the connector anf find out which is live the do it again with the ignition on. The wire that is live when the ignition is on only is the 1 you want.

Ive just fitted a front mount intercooler and now have no need for the following bits. Stock intercooler Fair condition. Full set of stock intercooler piping. No splits. Radiator expantion tank. Plastic trim that sit over the radiator fan now where my fmic sits. Plastic intercooler vent that is fixed to the stock intercooler. Drivers side a-pillar trim. Active front spoiler in blue with motor and brackets but motor does not work no cogs inside was used for a bracket for the spoiler. Ideal if your not bothered about spoiler moving. Lower fibreglass apren which active spoiler sits underneath. ( the 1 that covers bottom of radiator) Anyway you no what I mean. All open to offers. ( sensible offers I mean). These are all in used condition but all were fine when I removed them from the car today.

Funny enough mine does the same. its seems to hit the limiter at 125 but my ODO is still in KMH and my clocks are in MPH. How much are these kits from Thor and what are they like to fit.

What do these actually do and is these any point in having them.

Im all confused now. I thought that a flashing o/d light was the speed sensor fault, or is this another problem. As mine was doing this for the first time the other day then its gone off again. Whats it all about.

Ive got a blitz tt and I cant arm the alarm when its running either. I would imagine that its because all the electrics in the car will be still live and this would set the alarm off. I would have thought all tt would be the same.

I fitted a greddy E01 to my TT I connected the rpm signal wire to the ECU. If you Disconnect the ECU harness its the its the bottom right hand side wire which you connect it to. Hope this helps. its a piece of cake to get toIll find out the colour for you and post it later.
