  4. Ive just replaced all my coil pack connectors. I cant remember the part numbers ff hand but if you do a search you'll find um s I got them off here. they are about 7 quid each including vat but its worth it changing them all and have done with it. There really easy to change just make sure you put the wires back in the right spaces in the plugs, if not your in trouble. They are called condensors if you find any confusion with the part numbers from Toyota.
  5. I would say depending if the bumper is fibre glass or plastic. if its fibre glass it can be filled smothed over and then resprayed if you go to a good body shop. If its plastic, im not saying it will defenily work but my mate has an Astra (fool) but anyway he did the same to his, took the bumper off heated it up with a hairdryer until the plastic went softish and the dint pushed straight out. if it works then you only have paint to pay for. But I would say if you think he was an honest guy and you think he was going to come and tell you what he did if you didnt go out then keep it as cheap for him as possible, but if he was about to drive away before you caught him them go the the most expensive place you can find and have his eyes out.
  6. Hi Gamer. yeah thats the bit. PM me and we can sort something out.

  11. Ive read some threads about referbishing the connectore would this be the same procedure for this.
  12. Hi everyone. Ive got a problem with my dash lights. Its the top right pannel the 1 with, I think its the 2 oil lights and the engine warning light. The problem is they wont come on, well thats unless I bang my hand on top of the dash where the lights are. What can I do to fix this.

    Hesitation

Id change your coil pack clips (there called condensers at toyota). I had the same problem but the lumpyness was alot worse than that. I changed the the clips and plugs also removed the intercooler pipes and cleaned the out and it sorted itself. These clips get really brittle so I would get a set if you are intending to change your plugs cos they are prone to falling to bits when you take them off the coil pack.
  14. Ive got 19" on mine also and will have to agree with Jamiep my traction isnt the best but I dont have a problem with the handling at all. My Soop is lowered with stiffness adjustable shock ive set on hard it handles great, but then again ive never drove a soop with 17"s or 18"s on to compare but im quite happy with what ive got.
  15. black boot carpet Boot carpet with hole for stock sub. Plastic spare wheel cover thingy. Side compartments for jack, tools etc. No pics If anyones interested ill sell as a set or seperate. They were removed due to boot install. P.M me and make me an offer
  16. Any of you used a Blitz oil filter. Is it worth the extra money or are you just paying for the name.
  17. The car has sorted itself out dont know how or why it just has. Everything seemed to be pointing towards the map sensor. My E01s pressure sensor is cennected into this so I altered the display to show boost the car was fine. It was cold when I started it and it ticked over fine, so I thought id try my luck down the road. It was back to its normal self boosting to 1 bar again no problem. The thing is I dont like thinks that fix themselves I like to know why it happened. But I suppose never look a gift horse in the mouth and stuff.
  18. Ive managed to get it running again but still stinks of petrol on tickover. if its left ticking over for a while and rev it to about 3000rpm it blasts black carbon stuff and what looks like either neet fuel or water from exhaust. its not lumpy on tickover anymore since ive changed the coilpack clips but I took it out for a run and it wouldnt boost past 0.5 bar. If my foot was just on the throttle it was drivable but if I put it down any it would start to splutter and hold back. It wouldnt return to normal until I took my foot off the throttle. it feels like there its under fueling but I think its over fueling on tickover. I cant find any pipes off or splits at all. Ive done a code fault check and the only thing that comes up it a flashing O/D light, the warning light comes on and just stays on untill I start the car then it goes off. Ive done some searches and the O/D light means the delimiter or speed sensor is shagged. Can this cause the over and under fueling problem. PLEASE HELP. I need it back on the road ASAP.

anyone got a picture of the light

    MIL light

Can someone please confirm that the MIL light is the triangle in the centre of the rev counter with the exclamation mark in the middle. And does the whole thing flash with aq fault diagnosis.
  21. I thought it was the triangle light in the centre of the clocks with the exclamation mark in it. Or am I wrong.
  22. What does that light look like and where on the dash is it. Excuse my ignorence.
  23. I would imagine if its a genuine bumper it should replace the standard 1. but theres only 1 way yo find out mate. The front bumper isnt a big jub to remove anyway you could have them swapped in a couple of hours and then change them back for the du-luck to be painted.
