Probably just in the street I am afraid Shawn, last year and the year before they were quite strict on the gate, but I guess it depends on who's doing the gate on the night and how many cars we get.

The nice thing about the old but very affective cruise and speed limit on your old W210 Herbie is that you can set speed limits easily. After I got done on a average speed limit stretch close to me I use to use it all the time until it become second nature. Miss that old tank.

I think if you pay the fixed penalty then its just that fixed at £100, but if you elect to go to court and lose then its proportional to your earnings and you are means tested. So it pays to be a speeding dole dosser, and you have the added bonus of having all day to spend how you like, down the pub, working on your car, enjoying the spring weather while the rest of us are at work. Great system.

I am not at home just now so cant confirm but think the clicking from the passenger footwell is normal area isnt a problem and most likely a relay doing what its meant to. How loud is this clicking, louder than the engine ticking over or do you only hear it when the engine isnt running?

OK but I would still try disconnecting it for a minute or two and trying again. Also, I may have given you some bum advice re the level switch, I am thinking it is a NC switch meaning it goes open when the level is low, use your paper clip to link the two pins in the connector together and see if that takes the light out.

Its pretty unusual for the triangle to be lit, normally handbrake, brake fluid level or float switch sticky or door open. Going out on a limb here.... the car runs yes? Also, just a thought based on a strange set of symptoms I have witnessed twice following a flat battery on mine, dissconnect one leg of the battery for a minute and then re-connect and try again.

Ace Cafe say 50 cars, which to me seems quite a lot and must include the area to the left of the building too. A few years ago we had about 30 cars there and it was snug but fine. If the list gets to 50 which is doubtful, I will close it and then with the no shows we should all be fine.

Clicking noise in the passenger footwell when you press the brake pedal I would say is most likely a relay operating and normal. Disconnect the plug on top of the brake resevoir and see if the triangle goes out. If it does then its either low fluid or dodgy float switch. Humming noise, I have no idea, are you sure the blower isn't on very low?
