  1. I'm with them, Sky couldn't match what they were asking to upgrade from my Zed to the Sup, so stayed put. The guys at the Thatcham office are very good imo.
  2. Thinking of calling these guys to see if they can address a few tiny cosmetic chips & scrapes to the skirts. Would have a go myself with a halfrauds off the shelf kit but I don't know exactly what colour the car is since it was re-sprayed. Halfords do offer a similar drive-in service but....its Halfords, nuff said. Anyone got any testimonials / costs for x number of chips etc?
  3. Nice one...the wait will be horrible but worth it, I know the feeling well! UK TT auto on 19's...good choice:d
  4. Dave doesn't need luck chaps....its been with me for 2 weeks:p Its awesome, I love everything about it from the looks to the interior to the way it sounds at 6000rpm:) And yes it is being looked after very well, leather has been given a good condition and treated her to a new battery and some Meguiars Tech wax. Once I saw it I knew Ihad to have it even though I now have 3 cars clutering up the drive....if anybody wants a fast 300ZX I've got a cheap one for sale...!

    Finally!

Well after hovering around on here for over a year I have finally brought home a Supra and what can I say...I love it! It was Gezzabloke's old car (UK Auto, BPU+) so some of you will know it well. Might give it a wash when it stops raining and get some new pics up! I must say it feels a quality step above my 300ZX, very smooth and surprisingly a better ride despite 19" rims. At the moment not quite as chuckable but I need to get used to it before I experiment with handling (and the full beans of the 2nd turbo in this weather). Everything works as it should, can't remember ever buying a car that I didn't need to do a few jobs to but this is a credit to the former owner and I know it was a very reluctant sale. Just ordered some slightly more legal plates as the North Wales Gestapo will not let me get away with the current ones for long Here's to a good summer:d
  8. Excuse me Jose..... F*cking brilliant from the mighty reds.
  9. Another 300zx.co.uk member moves to the dark side.... If only I could sell my Zed I'd be joining you, but no bugger will buy it
  10. I've been trying to sell my Zed for months but nobody seems interested, so worth a pop on here I guess! Link below: http://www.300zx.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=69907
  11. Hi - quick question - you have a 1.2 bar restrictor ring but its only boosts to 0.9bar? Is the cat still in? Also, any interior pics? Cheers:)
  12. Thanks - it was a private sale and I did not jack it up but the car seemed rock solid. The tyres were very wide though but there seemed to be tyre roar and soemthing else. I'm just thinking that the things that need doing to it (possible bearing, door handle re-spray, re-bonding of one of the rear spats) add up to a chunk which I should take off the asking price if I'm going to make an offer. It was difficult not to be seduced by its looks though:notworthy
  13. Hi all I'm on the hunt for a Supra and took the oportunity to look at one local to me yesterday. Although it looked fantastic (lowered on TRD suspension apparently) , when riding in it at speed I could hear a noise from the rear of the car that sounded like a dull droning increasing in volume and slightly in pitch with speed. I owned a 300ZX that did this and it turned out to be a rear wheel bearing - are these common symptoms on a 90k mile sup? The thing that worried me is that it could be the diff, but surely the Supra rear diff is pretty bomb proof? If it is the wheel bearing(s), what sort of £££ would a replacement be inc fitting? Thanks in advance
  14. If you're anywhere near Chester mate, have a word with Bob at http://www.safeandsoundchester.co.uk They have fitted 2 toads for me as well as all my audio and have a good knowledge of the kit.
