  1. Been trying to uplaod my Marham vids for 2 days now - I have them in avi format which seems big but left google video uploader chewing away for an entire day and it finally got 1100Mb uploaded. trouble is now I can't find the vid...log in etc and there's no vids pending, none uploaded, nothing:angry: I could redo the vids in MPEG1 or MPEG II format but no idea which to choose and which site to go on. Tried Youtube and it just does nothing for hours. Any suggestions?

    Mpg ?

I meant to post about my fuel consumption at Marham. 49 miles used approx 40 litres of petrol hence I had to go and fill up....5.6Mpg:blink:
  3. Thats me out in front on the middle pic taking a more unusual route out of that corner (i.e. veering off to the right then hoping it diesn't run into the loose stuff at the edge of the runway!). Didn't stay in front for long:rolleyes: Bloody singles:d Is that a Marham inflicted chip in your windscreen Mike?
  4. A little! With all that space I thought it would only be me who somehow managed to hit the grass. Nearly took out a runway light as well:D Got a good video of it...just trying to upload all my footage now.
  5. Looks like I'll have to do the same...I might get away with just the bumper being done but need to wash the car first for a full assesment. Also ripped my side skirt off during the slight 'off' I had, will have to remove, re-drill and re-seal that:rolleyes: I've somehow broken the battery tray tie-down bracket as well..found the top clamp swinging freely and I think maybe some battery acid has leaked out onto my alarm. VERY Expensive day all in all! Few pics of mine:
  6. Did they not let you guys out the 'short' way (left just after the 25mph limit on the way out?). A MP sent me that way as he said that I might catch something on the hump, didn't metion I'd already been that way once for petrol! UK suspension rules:d (although not round some of those Marham corners thats for sure).
  7. My front bumper looks similar to Ash's as did a few others, front wings also peppered and also got a few here and there down the sides of the car as well! It only needed 2-3 seconds of following someone down the straight to to the main damage... looks like a bumper respray at least for me. Also need the side skirts removing and repairing and a geometry check after having an 'off' onto the grass. Still worth it though, had a great time! Will post my in-car footage when I get back to home base tomorrow.
  8. Just mounted my main video camera on the back window. Unfortunately I've been done buying a 2nd hand AC2K action cam on e-bay listed as 'used once, complete in original packaging'...it doesn't have the velcro straps for mounting it to anything. Was hoping to do a little vid using both in-car and external footage but hey ho:rolleyes: Can't wait now...just hope the showers aren't too bad.
  9. Just about to mount my camera in the car....should get some good footage of all the single boys blitzing away from me:rolleyes: Think we might get some showers as its been on and off all day but can't wait!
  10. Just got back...lost my voice and cut my shins to ribbons but feel fantastic. What a game! Bad luck to Arsenal who were excellent first 20mins, thought we were in for a pasting.
  11. I hoping he's there as I'm bring some new F1's to put on afterwards hopefully. As a backup I'm looking for someone local who can do it for me the day after, at worst its a 15 mile journey home then. Has anyone gone for trackday insurance? I wasn't going to as I know the track is very wide & safe but I'm getting paranoid about the murphy's law factor now:rolleyes:
  12. Nice. I think Nissan are being a bit coy with the power figure though, they're more like 520Bhp in stock form so I've heard so that's 'only' another 60Hp, with is probably about right for an exhaust, slight boost increase & re-map. I bet its devastating through the gears.
  13. Provisionally sold (after Marham of course:eyebrows:)
  14. Was this the David Leslie I remember from the BTCC? http://uk.news.yahoo.com/skynews/20080330/tuk-two-victims-of-private-jet-crash-nam-45dbed5.html Shocking:(
  15. Bump - still regretfully for sale but collection would have to be after April 20th. Fresh MOT 4 weeks ago, new rear tyres (Eagle F1) on the way, I've also fitted some 2nd hand seatbelts since this post so they both retract again now.

    Nice 'Lambo'...

I like it, but I'm looking for one with the later beta V6
  17. I have them and they've been fine for 3K or so, possibly a tiny bit longer to start from cold but it could be just in my mind. No problems at 1.3bar BPU, my previous IK22's were starting to splutter.
  18. Very nice - interesting choice to go with alcantara in the centre of the door cars but it works, first shot reminds me of a top level Audi interior. The G&B re-trim in my car is a few years old now I think but its still wearing very well, their attention to detail is top notch
  19. I think this this is still valid mate
  20. Yes is as safe as anywhere else I can think of (certainly area wise better than the West Lynn one) and has CCTV in the car park which is fairly large if I remember rightly an perched higher up above the main roundabout. Not much else around the area at all i.e. not on anyones route home etc. Obviously I would park as close to the main building as possible but I would trust my car there overnight if that helps! Depending on when my co-driver arrives that eve from London way, I might nip up for a swift beer with you all as I'm only 12 miles away anyway, if not will defo meet up with you there on the way the next morning.
  21. It is a pub for the locals mate, just happens to be a hotel as well (drinks will be a touch more mind but its not too bad). The only thing that isn't close is the aforementioned kebab place! Would have to be a feast of Knobby's & Scampi fries:drool:
  22. Good job it was a sturdy Airbus and not a ropey old 737 eh;)
  23. Just had two of these delivered to aid oil & fluid changes etc - as I don't have good garage facilities, just a parking space, I needed something that allow me to catch everything that came out and transport it. They have wheels to slide it under the car, 14 litre capacity and a small pouring cap at the end to get rid and take them home again from the recycle centre. £15 quid well spent I think:)
  24. Hi Ryan Personally I would suggest Knights Hill hotel over the travel Inn, see link: http://book.bestwestern.com/bestwestern/productInfo.do?propertyCode=83261 Its about 2 miles North of the town with easy access to the bypass which you'd take to Marham anyway. Bit classier as well probably and price shouldn't be too different
  25. Just keep a close eye on the cars...West Lynn is not the classiest of areas....
