    I pushed the boat out and stayed in Hermosa Beach last year just for a few days...it was fantastic. Good bike rides all the way up the coast to Malibu, and some great sights along the way

    Indeed. I'm going but this will be my last one probably, unfortunately a lot of Santa Pod events are like this now. Last year someone launched a firework horizontally and it hit my tent and went off by my head leaving a burn mark...shudder to think if the tent had gone up how long I would have had. Just hoping this year the price of fuel has stopped at least some of the chaviest chavs, but we will do the usual and try to make our own space as best we can. Shame as the first one I went to was great.

    I'm reconsidering my R34 aspirations now if they do that during a fast lane change on the motorway. I'm presuming that the flash back in the middle was suggesting Supra had some a bomb on board that would go off if dropping below a certain speed? Bit like Dougal's milk float on Father Ted:D

    I'm off to Farnborough on Friday (trade day) and Saturday public day. Looking forward to seeing the Vulcan again, awesome aircraft. Was hoping to see an F-22 for the first time its only there tomorrow I think:rolleyes:

    Branners How big a part do you think VVti plays in that response at low revs? Does it give you the best of both i.e. similar top-end response like a UK spec?

    Just seen an awsome looking orange Sup with full bodykit on 'The inbetweeners' on E4. Saw it coming down a DC from a mile off whilst the main cast were in a layby moaning about jizz on their car seat (don't ask!) Anyone on here? Would probably have seen a film crew as they went past so might remember it:cool:

    Can't believe nobody's mentioned The Gumball Rally yet! Particularly from 1:22 in this clip, love the Ferrari & Cobra through an empty NY and the cop "its gonna be a nice day"

    Badly! I would steer clear of both companies (and that car, it looks like the typical tat that is coming through these days) and get yourself one from someone with a bit more trust as mentioned. T The For Sale section on here is still the best place imo.

    I've owned 2 Zeds, one was great (UK spec) one was pants (JDM). I love them but the Mkiv is better in almost every respect, but not by as much as some might think. BPU vs. BPU speed is very close, handling on the Zed might be described as more fun, but ultimately the limits of the Supra are higher. As mentioned, Toyota used it a a benchmark and aimed to beat it in every area...they succeded!

    Its already booked in somewhere mate. It was provisoinally sold, but the guy is now non commital and I wouldn't be able to sell it in the current state its in now anyway.

    The bodyshop doing the work don't have one so have to send away for the match (they have my fuel filler cover). Just thought if any members either remembered the previous owner talking about it or have seen the car in the flesh and know it to be RSP / something else they might be able to speed things up or ensure a better match.

    Yes, and it was formerly red and has had a full colour change so it would be no help anyway! Best close up I've got is the one showing all the chips...

    Can anyone ID the colour of my car (difficult I know from a picture). Need to have a front end respray after Marham and am concerned that the colour wont be a perfect match. Don't think its Ford Imperial Blue as I was next to a few Focus RS's at the weekend and there seems to be a touch more purple in it. Someone else metioned RSP? Think thats Royal Saphire Pearl but not sure what that looks like! For reference this was Geezablokes old car (Dave) and was painted by Dude I think (at least the front bumper was).

    Sweet looking brakes! Was very close to getting an S14a prior to my Z32...wish I had now, power to weight ratio for a well tuned one is better, plus look how much easier it is to work on. Nice choice, enjoy the roundabouts:D
