  1. The vent looks like one off a new Celica. Perhaps a skin placed over the original bonnet?
  2. Isn't the fisherman that had those lines a D1 champion though? Sure I read that somehwhere on the other thread. I saw it Thursday night. Thought it was OK. Just easy viewing really.
  3. £30 fixed penalty for the number plate failing to conform to 2001 regulations or if lucky an option of Vehicle Defect Rectification Scheme (VDRS) if the force area takes part in this scheme. Officer discretion majority of the time though. I can't personally see much of a problem unless it really is obscenely small and/or has stupid font.
  4. Hi mate, Was it you that I spoke to on Saville Avenue in Carleton that time? Did you put the scoop in your bumper yourself?
  5. S abou 20:25ilver MKIV on Crossleys Bridge, Blackpool. Didn't get any of the reg but saw you in my rear view. Nice looking motor with a kit i didn't recognise and bonnet scoop in front bumper. Nice seeing you.
  6. Sorry to hear about this . I know how you are feeling. Time is a great healer. Deepest Sympathies
  7. Cravendale is a nice drop ..... as far as milk goes. In fact it's so good the cows want it back.
  8. People still do this. Not seen it done in ages. Mind you not been on a retail park at night for a few years.

Went to see this last night. Really enjoyed it and just though I'd post up for anybody thinking of going to see a film. Certainly makes you realise to some extent just how terrifying it must have been to be on one of the hijacked planes on 9/11. Cinema size images of the planes crashing into the World Trade Centre still sends shivers up my spine. Definite one to watch.
  10. It is officer discretion unless the exhaust is marked 'not for road use' or similar. Be careful though as if the neighbour does report it then that is independent and you could end up with a s.59 Police Reform Act warning. The warning applies to you and your car for 12 months so even if you change/borrow a car and get a complaint it still applies. Likewise if somebody borrows your car. You only get one warning and if another complaint is received about your car or driving causing harassment, alarm or distress the Police can recover your car which will cost you. Think it's £120 for the call out round here then £12 per day. Cheers Adam
  11. Is that through choice. Great concept but getting fed up with my Amstrad box f***ing up regularly. Top Gear seems to be one that occasionally gets deleted automatically

Just had to drive back from work with virtually no air in the rear tyre at all. Left it parked up at work and the pressure seems to have escaped much quicker than I thought . Going to have to get myself one of those 12v compressors to see me through the bank holiday weeekend .

Yeah. Was thinking about leaving it in and just hoping it kept pressure but for £115 I'd rather just get it done. It is gutting though to think that an as new tyre is being replaced
  14. Not sure exactly but my mate has done a load of research and opted for a plasma because he says that the response times are much better above 32" for plasma. If he'd got a 32" or smaller he would have got LCD.
  15. Hi mate, A friend of mine has just purchased a LG 42" Plasma TV from Currys. Included 5.1 surround system and stand for £2k. From what he keeps telling me is to look at contrast ratio eg: 5000:1. The higher the better and also that anything above 32" then go for Plasma rather than LCD. Also make sure it is HD ready with a HDMI input and not just HD compatible. Will have a sticker on it anyway. Edit - Also heard that LG make the components for LCD TVs for other manufacturers. Don't know how true that is.

Not horizontal but on the 'shoulder' of the tyre if you know what I mean. Just wish I could get hold of the irresponsible little t**t that caused the screw to be there in the first place.

I went to my usual place as soon as I discovered it about 14:45 but it was closed so can only presume that they are shut now til Tuesday. On nights all weekend so I'll try them again when I get up tomorrow. There aren't any places local that can do them at £115 all in plus they're not kept in stock and will need 24 hours to be ordered.

Bought 2 new 255/40/17 Dunlop SP9000 for the rear of my Supra about 5 weeks ago. Just been out for lunch and just looked back at my car on the way across the car park and see a silver shing thing sticking out the tyre wall on the rear nearside. Closer inspection and there's a dirty great screw hanging out of my new tyre. Now been told that it can't be repaired and is going to cost me £115 for a new tyre which obviously I won't be able to get now til Tuesday at the earliest Just needed to vent my anger.
  19. I'm in Blackpool mate but not too clued up on TTs either, otherwise I'd have a look with you. I hope it's a good one though and you get sorted Adam
  20. Not updated my balance lately but the server has been down recently.
  21. Since having my wheels refurbed 2 weeks ago I have been looking for a set of centre caps as 2 of my originals had been bodged in and were a right mess Anyway I have not had any joy in finding original Seneka/Kosei caps and so i have been considering having some metal ones custom made. Could anybody advise me if someone on here makes this sort of thing and if not any suggestionas to how about getting it done. Thanks Adam
  22. I'm with Endsleigh. 21 years of age '94 SZ-R Fully comp 4 NCB Not sure on excess think about £450 £1020
  23. Isn't that something to do with phrenology? It's used to 'read' the head. I found a Japanese air freshner in a can. Bit like a sardine can with a ring pull where the smelly stuff is inside. Hadn't been used either
