As long as your reply to the NIP wasn't "It goes faster" or something equally stupid. The best thing you can do is keep your mouth shut.

All I can suggest is get yourself a solicitor to plead all the mitigating circumstances you can. Accept responsibility and be sincere in court. That way any ban will hopefully be minimal for you. Best of luck.

If he's been told that he is getting the summons then that will mean that the officer will put his statement in regarding the incident including all relevant information such as speed, visual evidence, speedo calibration and number then submit to the CPS for their decision. The summons will then be sent out including a time and date for the court appearance. However a NIP will have to be issued within 2 weeks to inform that he is being considered for the prosecution of 'offence' if he has not already been given that verbally by the officer at the time, that is the law.

Not quite. If he is to be prosecuted for the offence then he must be given an NIP and caution whether it be verbal or in writing. The time limit for the NIP to be given is 2 weeks and then there is a 6 month time limit for the prosecution to be completed and the summons served.

What details were taken mate and were you cautioned and given a verbal NIP? If you weren't and you don't hear anything within two weeks then you won't be getting prosecuted. What's the evidence against you? Anything visually recorded?

Yeah, the projector showing the Bo Selecta character of him giving the fire regulations. He even made that funny. Don't think i've ever laughed so hard.

Went to see Jimmy Carr last night in Liverpool. The best show i've been to. 2 1/2 hours of non stop comedy with him ripping the shit out of loads of members of the audience, even a blind person . Really good night. Would recommend his show to anybody.

A friend of mine has offered to change the cambelt on my '94 SZ-R for £150 including a Gates belt. He has recently opened up an Impreza tuning garage and is very competent with these cars although hasn't worked on a Supra before. Just wondering if I should let him do it or not. Is there anything that is unusual on the 2JZ-GE or is it a straight forward job? Comments welcome Adam

Hello, I am hoping somebody may be able to help me. I have f##ked the LCD screen on my Sony Ericsson K750i and I need to replace it. I haven't got insurance unfortunately and so cannot get a replacement phone. I've had a look on the internet and can get a new LCD screen for £40. Just wondered if anybody had any experience of this and could give me some advice or alternatives. Cheers Adam

Orange are doing a Sony Ericsson W810i with 1750 texts per month and 400 minutes per month for £35. Depends if you want an 18 month contract though.
