Quick update the supra run from Belfast, slane, navan, trim to Galway, salt hill through Connemara into cong co mayo then into knock co Sligo then homewards through enniskillen and she ran sweet as a nut even though the Irish back roads I could only average 35mph as the roads were terrible lol infact the some off the roads had sunk at the sides causing my nur spec to run along the road for a couple off miles lol to avoid it I had to swop from side to side, just a few pictures i managed to get along the way me and the beautiful wife with very expensive dress, pictures taken by my bro, professional ones to follow with the photoshoot of the supra http://a5.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/391552_10151852079525663_1094020572_n.jpg http://a4.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc7/s720x720/319330_473972732622124_1325140901_n.jpg this gives an idea of what to expect http://a7.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/s720x720/555698_10151171431305937_491202735_n.jpg leaving the slieve donard i got this cracking shot http://a4.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc7/s720x720/387151_10151852083735663_156854684_n.jpg the next few pictures were from Connemara in Co Mayo en route to Cong location of ashford castle (five star very expensive) and the location for the film the queit man http://a5.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/s720x720/378628_10151869550110663_1101471999_n.jpg http://a3.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/s720x720/574983_10151869555930663_104860345_n.jpg spot the supra http://a1.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/s720x720/394421_10151869554560663_2095013326_n.jpg getting kidnapped by a fake priest outside the original bar from the film http://a4.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc7/s720x720/488352_10151869583410663_1188909614_n.jpg http://a8.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc7/s720x720/424757_10151869589175663_1950260617_n.jpg http://a6.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/s720x720/394324_10151869590770663_621624087_n.jpg http://a7.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/s720x720/295964_10151869591795663_1708649598_n.jpg then to finish the honeymoon ff we have this http://a2.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/s720x720/424743_10151878947470663_507168471_n.jpg now to start getting the supra back to her former glory lol
  4. All my times at Bishopscourt and I've only ever got one perfect launch getting me a 13.01 but that's with the auto box and brake boosting, I've tried so many times after and never got it right, either she bogs down or lights the tyres However next summer I'll be back with the 6 speed fitted, I want a race haha Also remember there isn't much grip on the start line compared to that off Santapod so your gonna naturally get wheel spin , my best advice would feather the throttle off the start line then when you get second gear really gun it, traction control off aswell
  5. Just sent you an email there, let me no if you get it and if there is anything else I can do, it was taken with a iphone4s thanks

    Darragh's wedding

Thanks very much mate, yea the wedding went very well and everything was perfect and we even got a photoshoot done with the supra and the pictures are gonna look amazing lol I'm still recovering from the nerves the stress the happiness and the drink haha Colin did well to get her back on the road even though the altinator died coming out off the mot center but while I was in priors scrap yard getting an altinator off a Lexus gs300 I found a Lexus V8 with the big four pot calipers with brand new brake discs, £80 later and they were en route to Colin at ssi and they are night and day haha I'll get the pictures up when I get back on the laptop
  7. I got an amazing shot today that would suit the scenic shot although I haven't a foggy how to resize or send it in, as stated above can anyone help if I email them the picture ? Thanks
  8. It's incredible how rubbish the j spec brake set up looks behind big wheels, the new set up looks great
  9. I bought four with just about illegal tyres for £30 center caps and nuts as well, once I've murdered the tyres id say they will go and get recycled, no one wants them
  10. Seen her at ssi yesterday and I have to admit she is looking mint, the paint job is a great finish and makes the car look like brand new
  11. Sorry for the delay viper I've sent you a pm there , I was working all day
  12. I've a good r154 gearbox for sale £500 plus delivery, I'm in northern Ireland but I don't think delivery would be that dear as I have a friend in a courier company over here I was for useing it myself but managed to get a six speed conversion instead (right place right time) Ps it took me ages to find one and touched lucky one day with a car going to scrap although the man knew what they were worth lol
  13. Just to clear a few things up about diffing, it's a mad craze that has been happening in Ireland for a long time with alot of corrolla twin cams sierras and bmws, it all started out at the rally's years ago when boy racers would basically mess about in the towns and villages that were hosting the rally's , it all came very illegal as they were wrecking the towns and police came down hard promting it to go to car parks and special shows ,now the corrolla twin cam is known as "twin cam brigade" as they all drive around these diffing events in massive convoys and all wait there turn to throw a few hoops, I don't mind a wee bit off diffing around but it gets so boring You can drift an auto supra but having big turbos and big balls is 100% needed as you don't have the same control, at the end of are local drag strip after I'm finished a run I go for a big drift by turning in fast, kicking down and letting the weight of the car take over , once it's out I tap the accelerator gently to try and keep the momentum going, it really isn't easy and I've ended up in a 180 degree spin or drifting towards the grass but everytime I do it I find myself smileing
  14. Look out for the Irish ones at the terry grant show shouting abuse and no doubt joining in with the stunt show, it'll be on the Saturday afternoon
  15. Welcome along mate were bouts you from?
  16. I bought mine a few months after I started going out with her, She loves the speed and the attention the car gets but always thought it to be a waste of money especially after I rebuilt the engine with forged parts lol we are getting Married in two weeks time and she sugested to dig the supra out off the back garden (it's been there the last 11 months as I'm working and have no time with the wedding), get it cleaned taxed and motd , and we will get a few photos taken on the day off the wedding with the car at the photo location , to which I'm smileing although now I've to get it out and cleaned aaarraaggghhhhh Ps last febuary i spent £3000 on a six speed getreg conversion and she didn't craic up so I think she likes it haha
  17. Nice find, they are easy enough to fix as I have a set and my dad has a set on his gs300.
  18. There is always a mob of us go over from northern Ireland, it has really got chavtastic and full off Drumm and bass crap music (does my head in) but we always have good craic and sit on the bank screaming abuse at terry grant, he loves me that much he kidnapped me last year and bunged me into the boot off his Nissan juke and decided to start driving round on two wheels lol that was sore when he landed Anyways it's a decent enough event and I've never seen any trouble although be ready for some people drooling over your car and asking silly questions I got a miss fire on the m6 toll racing a escort cosworth and Astra vxr, so at the camp site I had the coil packs out tapeing them up and had a crowd of fiestas Saxo and corsa drivers who wernt young either over asking me silly questions lol There is a crowd off Irish going over this year but as I'm getting married in the next three weeks I've to give it a miss Ps sitting on the bank having a few beer watching cars go up the strip is good craic but even better when a corsa suddenly wheelies and sets a blistering time

We're you in Boucher road test centre On Saturday for mot? If so that was me starring at you as I walked across the car park lol
  21. Mine went in and out off roundabouts great but that's running proper tyres and setting the car up for the weight transfer, only once i near lost it , a75 Scotland early hours off the morning, came into the roundabout committed and the exit road wasn't were it was meant to be meaning I really had to turn in and got myself a massive over steer drift to the left followed by a drift to the right on the exit road, I used all the road but kept the power in it and she pulled it off, thank god there was no one coming the other direction It never happened again lol I reckon the tyres and suspension being set up properly gave me the control to save it
  22. Was talking to Colin and Marty and a prediction could be September lol there will be 5 off us back on the road

    Speeding fine

Yep that's the rules for northern Ireland however when we go into the south of Ireland it's really strict but there isn't enough gardai (Irish police) and when we go to England we always take are time as we no England isn't as lenient as northern Ireland lol

    Speeding fine

What he said ^^^^^^^^^^^ For future reference try and remember its 10% plus 4 mph, so for a 30mph + 10% = 33 + 4 = 37, anything between 38 to 45 is a speed awareness course, anything after 45 is penalty points and that's only in northern Ireland It used to be 15mph over the limit you get away with it but then they brought in speed awareness class were you don't get the points , Hope this helps keep you right for the future lol ps I'm not a police man I just happen to have a few reliable sources that I trust in the police Pps anyone that says they got done 33 in a 30 are lieing
