  1. Right guys and gals this car is SOLD, received a deposit today and the fella will be flying over from Sweden to collect the car when its back from GVN. Thanks for looking.
  2. love the body kit......looks very nice
  3. Hi guys, My bumper is being resprayed as we speak by GVN and i need some new facelift side markers but they need to be clear lenses. The only place to get them from is ebay and the usa which will take too long. Doea anyone know if i can use the small pre facelift side indicator lenses in my front bumper but just make the bumper holes smaller when they are prepping it?? Thanks, Ben.
  4. Hi mate, I have a black stock bumper and even the active spoiler bit if you wanted it. It is an original facelift bumper and would need a respray if your really fussy. It has lots of tiny stonechips but no cracks or damage. PM if interested mate, Ben.
  5. Thanks Chris..........whats the best way to expose this car to the swedish guys?? or do are most of them members on here anyway? thanks, Ben
  6. Thanks guys for the generous comments. A month would be ideal Paul, I wont be getting my new car for 7 weeks!!
  7. SOLD...........SOLD...........SOLD Hi everyone, After a couple of months of serious contemplation my Gorgeous car of almost 2 years is for sale. I plan to prematurely become an old fart and potter along in a diesel instead. It has been loved and cherished from day one, having been serviced every 4-6000miles and having never gone short of anything it has needed with all the documents to show. The car looks perfect in my humble opinion, subtle yet aggresive and the perfect colour. All major modification over the last year have been carried out by Mark at pheonix and most recently Matt at AFR and Ryan G for mapping. This car is BPU with cams, ecu and larger injectors making it perfect for someone wanting a car ready for a sinlge turbo or just a well set up TT. HID 6000k lights Servicing I bought this car in late 2006 with 46,000miles I have kept a full service history including: '06 -Cam belt and water pump '07 -Auxillary belt Renewed gearbox oil seals and refilled with v160 Drained and refilled cooling system New LSD oil. '08 -New lambada sensor Crank position sensor Bosch Battery Front crankshaft pulley Hydraulic tensioner Tappet clearance check Jun cams fitted, check and reset clearance Front brake discs and pads While fitting my cams Mark carried out a leak down test for peace of mind with an average of 96% across all cylinders and a minimum of 94% on one cylinder. It had a full alignment check carried out at TDI, was told it was completely straight and have documents to show. It also weighed in at 1551kg. This car made 399bhp @0.8bar and will be getting a fine tune by Ryan G at 1.1bar on 11th june. I hope I havent missed anything but please feel to contact me by pm. I want to be as realistic as possible with a price but I also know there are very few TT cars in such a good conditon with this level of engine modifications. Thanks for looking. £11500 ono
  8. Thats bad Dean. No idea when its gonna be finished??
  9. It's got a ridox front, modified blitz skirts and a trial rear by the way.
  10. Thanks for the generous comments guys. I would have considered a banger if I had the space for 2 cars at my house. Also Didnt want to get hammered twice on insurance and would hate driving to work in a shed. The supra is too much of a luxury to have as a second car. I need a commuting car im happy driving to work in. When ive had a chance to save some money and move down south closer to work I'll probably look at a supra again. If I dont get a good price for her then i'll probably just keep it!!
  11. Thanks Jamie, cheers guys. Ive been thinking for ages what i'd want instead and there is nothing that appeals. I cant think of another car with this performance and for this price that I can use everyday. It seems silly to get another performance car as all my driving is motorway commuting. Thats why I think a diesel and a bike is my best option.
  12. I've sold a sup before, missed it like mad then bought this one. Had this for almost two years but really need to save for a move down south!! Spec list will be put up in the next few days when im home and have all the detials. Basics, AEM ems, Jun cams, 650cc injectors, Map by Ryan G, Recaros etc, etc.
  13. Hi all, I must be getting more sensible in my old age but im at the stage where I feel im doing too many miles on the supra and throwing all my money at fuel and upgrades. I'm doing around 18000miles a year commuting to and from work and its just crazy money. I reckon im spending in the region of £4000 a year on fuel. I've decided if im ever gonna get in a positon to upgrade home im gonna have to spend less money on my car. I've decided a diesel to commute and maybe a bike to put a smile on my face are the best options. (there is still a chance i may change my mind and keep it but im trying to be sensible) This is a basically a heads up that my car will be for sale in the next couple of months and if a good offer comes along then maybe sooner. I'm in no rush so im looking for a good price to reflect the look of the car and the quality parts included. This is a perfectly set up Facelift TT manual car, 1996 with 71000miles. It basically has everything in place for a nice small single if twins are not your thing. Will be posting more details soon in the for sale section please drop me a pm if your looking for looking for a perfect supra now or in the near future Thanks Ben.
  14. in sequentail both turbos are online and producing full boost at around 3800rpm+ in ttc both turbos are online by about 3300rpm+ producing full boost. hence 500rpm earlier. This isnt alot in lower gears but on the motorway in 4th and especially 5th gear that 500rpm equates to a larger speed range where you have 2 turbos boosting instead of the one in sequantial.
  15. Hi all, I have a egt sensor fitted to my aem. I now want to buy an egt guage but from the limited amount of searching ive done the guages seem to come with egt probes which i dont need. Is it possible to buy just the guage without the egt probe?? I like the look of the defi blue blank out guages but again i think they come with the egt probe, any ideas? Thanks, Ben
  16. Got to say mine is mapped in TTC and i prefer it too, full boost about 500rpm earlier than sequential so alot more midrange power.
  17. Also you CANT reduce boost with a boost controller........... a boost controller adds duty and allows you to INCREASE boost. This is important as your turbos will over boost without a restrictor ring or some kind of restriction in the exhaust system.
  18. Definately needed to increase duty on my avcr to maintain the boost after the previous 'loud' exhaust was removed and this one fitted. Just had an egt sensor fitted to my aem so when i get the car fine tunned by Ryan we will be able to see what the egts are doing and react accordingly.
  19. The pipe work is 3'' so it does just seem to be a narrowing at the back box. I can only assume its a welded baffle.
  20. ha ha cheers mate, whenever i drive past im always looking to see if there is an event on. So i assume test and tune day is a kind of RWYB?
  21. Anyone know a website that advertises events at northweald?? I've looked in the past and couldnt find anything. Its only 10 minutes from my house and would be ideal. Shame im away on sat. Ben
  22. Glenn it doesnt have this function, just spoken to Ian C the resident emanage expert. pm sent.
  23. Hi Glenn, Its just the unit itself for sale so no solenoid. Not even sure if the emanage can be used to control boost!! Ryan has the required wiring for sale if interested and he would also know more than me about what the units extra features. Ben.
