  1. my friend gets them in and i think he has a few there already pm me and i'll send you his web site and contact no's
  2. First off won't be on here now until after xmas so Happy xmas and New Year to you all, Just wondered has anyone fitted the leather front seats out of a RX8 into a Supra, O/S is elec same as ours and they are also heated, We have a Rex (our 2nd one) and they are really comfortable seats, Just wondered if anyone has done this conversion already as surely it can't be that hard once Subframes are sorted, I've seen Pairs of black front leather seats come up quite often on ebay really cheaply which has made me think... a friend is currently fitting a pair in his RX7
  3. Personally i just use a good independent But with the exception of Subaru most good main dealers now Mitsubishi in Particular (25 % of their UK parts holding is for imports) are geared up to service and supply parts for imports, Most now have all the CD's for parts, and servicing is no different to UK Cars, sometimes though some garages may not have all the software to read all fault codes though. Imports have been around now since 95 in the main market, so all this scare mongering about Parts supply issues and servicing is untrue, It was a case the Dealers over here had no option but to get on the import bandwagon, this in return is why insurance is no longer expensive either
  4. I was impressed with the Funky ones as even the standard Supra Bulb holder fits.. so basically just a direct swop but in clear, You get new bulb holders with them too though
  5. Nice Got mine last year from Chris at Funky Styling, Is this where you got these from? From memory there are about 3x different clear types, and Funky were cheap prices too, you see people trying to sell these for about £35.00 on ebay (WTF) These lights certainly give the Supe a modern look especially in the best Supra colour "silver" LOL!!
  6. Stock rims yes, which is why they look a little silly tucked away under the arches, most reputable aftermarket rims are a standard 35-38 offset, "dependent on style" this offset would / should clear UK brakes too. but worth checking before you purchase, My Rims would clear UK Brakes and they are a 38 offset
  7. Look great , especially with the bonnet and subtle,
  8. Ideal offset on a Supra is 35-38 You'd be suprised how many people get the offset No's the wrong way around Lower the number further they will stick out, not vice versa,
  9. Careful removing from the rear screen especialy in this cold weather, You may regret removing the rear tints though especially come summer, I had that heavy jap mesh stuff of the Supe rear window when she came over, couldn't see a damn thing out of it, but christ it got hot in the car in the summer when i removed it and my lad complained about the sun on him it left a right mess on the screen, took nearly a litre of Celelouse thinners to clean it up afterwards.
  10. http://www.vipstyle.co.uk/ maybe worth a look
  11. Soarers are fantastic cars, Once yo put a decent kit on them and a leather retrim they look superb, So much car for peanuts and pretty much Skyline performance to boot Have been very tempted over the years with these but in standard form shockingly bland
  12. Very Mirah Carey with a Cristine Agularia twist in sound CAN'T FAULT THE VOICE
  13. If you changed the battery you have done a reset and possibiliy / probably just lost its base idle settings, Just try keep it running and take it for a drive it should re learn very quickly We used to get this alot on the Ford Mondeos when i worked for Fords.
  14. Apparantley Sam was saying at Turbo fit she can do a great deal on K&N Cone filters, Never been sure about K&N Filters over the years views on K&N Cone filters??? I'm due to replace my HKS Cone after Crimbo
  15. HKS Panel foam filters are worse than the cones Took mine out when breiefly had more stock Air box in and it literaly fell to dust in my fingers ( so how much has been sucked into the engine!) Whatever you do do not try to clean them
  16. I used to deal with Funkystyling when it was funky product and have done so now for a few years, Great company i used to deal with Chris unless he moved over with the other guys when they went their own ways and set up two companies
  17. yep certainly nice looking wheels but sit in to far at the back on a Supe Bugger to clean though (well on a RX8 due to those "massive" brakes) Luckily on both our Rexs we've not had the wheel corrosion issue But hey 4x 18in Alloys for around a hundred quid well worth buying and having refurbed
  18. I have a 38 offset on my wheels, You see alot of GTS Skylines fitted with the wave of Ex warranty RX8 wheels off ebay fitted, Seen these to on Supras but the offset is totally wrong they are set to far inwards Don't forget the all important hub diameter and if its bigger you can buy spigots for about £2.00 each, They are extremeley important otherwise the whole car weight in on the studs not the hub Supra Hub Diameter is 60.1mm recommended 35-38 offset RX8 Hub Diameter is 67.1mm recommended 40-45 mm offset but not sure what a Skyline hub diameter is All PCD are the same 5x114.3 as are most Jap 5 studs except Celica 5x100 edit: Lower the offset number the further they will stick out of the arches,
  19. Anyway ............. Back to the freezing door problem
  20. A pair of tweezers will get it out, all girls carry those surely ... LOL Yep my heater is roasting
  21. Saw this at Boxhill meet last year i'm sure it was there ... Its a lovely car, and its one of the members on here
  22. LOL!! Seroiusly they are stuck solid and i'm worried about snapping the door handle off
