  1. Thanks Sabrina, But I do miss my Supra, I loved every minute of ownership and being a NA didn't matter at all , awesome car The Skyline ok has the performance and practicality but doesn't even come close to the Supra in the looks dept ..
  2. gts only Most of my mates now have GTR's but are quite shocked at how quick it is, However it has not got GTR handling, driving on black ice comes to mind . Insurance wise only paid just over £500 fully comp protected, strangley a GTR was no dearer, just the cost of a GTR was a little out of my reach at this present time
  3. Wonder if they'll do a Japfest 2 again later in the year at Donny as well .
  4. Reckon it will be about the same as our RX8 anything from 17 - 24mpg tops .. But both cars are great to drive so i suppose that is part on the course .. Was a little shock to the system though
  5. mmm, Judging by Supra nite , yours has turned into quite a monster Always said with TT's and Singles .... it helps to have a reliable NA as back up too ... ha ha (only joking) Hope to see you guys Tuesday at the ACE for Jap nite Don't forget to book in ...
  6. Thanks James, Fuel is crap though, but perhaps its because i'm having a play 18 mpg (roughly 120mls to 1/2 tank) but they have tiny fuel tanks , Bit of a shock as my NA did 25mpg around town , Even the buyer i spoke to yesterday as we were sorting the number plate transfer reckons my Supe is better on fuel than his old Rover 75 , He can't get over how good on fuel it is (just to rub it in) I saw at Supra night Sabrina has stuck to her word and stayed "stock look" that must be hard for you .. you know just to have a lttle tinkle here and there ... and before you know it ... Either that or she has threatened to punch your lights out if you go within 10 feet of it ... LOL!!! ha ha
  7. Communications ... Buyer The missus works for a NHS Trust 3000 staff and a personal budget of about £25 million But we are grounded ... no airs and graces and visions of granduar just live comfortably, not rich just comfortable
  8. Nightmare dunno about a handful ... sure i'll get the hang of it, The missus hates it and she she likes quick cars,
  9. you'll hear it first, You may need to shout Jamie mate , my ears ring for a while when i get out .... ha ha , For every day use i think i'll put the baffle in , You know the score, Neighbour complaining it vibrates his bedroom window glass at 7.30am every morning and ....... he Shouldn't be in bed that late if you ask me.. Lol !!!
  10. Blimey mate ... what you got a mansion !!! Jesus you must earn some serious wages
  11. Woooahh.... Lively to drive in the wet, Lost it Monday morning twice, 2nd time on a roundabout full 180 deg spin and a pissed of Astra driver ended up facing me shaking his fist !!! Awesome car... We need to find out full spec when papers arrive over as even the Skyline Technician at my mates importer is shocked how quick it is, Need to seroiusly look into Racelogic traction control as it simply has no .. traction on damp roads you can spin the rear weels in 4th at nearly 50mph New tyres all round but even if someone as much as spits in the road in front of me its Sunday driver mode ... great fun in the dry, the wet is a total nightmare,, roundabouts are a no no Will be up the Ace cafe Tuesday nite for its first outing, You'll hear it long before you see it... its loud!!!, cracklles , pops and wooooshes... Ooooh i feel like a kid again with a new toy :ecstatic: Still bits and peices to be done on it this week Valet / engine steam clean and fitting the music centre, and a few other niggly bits
  12. upto £250 - £300 fitted will get you a cat 1 I have a Sterling on my Skyline, good system except the Anti hijack locks you in when you start the engine and unlocks when you turn off ( not worked out yet how to turn that function off )
  13. 390 a month 4 years to go.............. and its paid off We have made £200k profit in 12 years too...
  14. Cheers Daz for keeping us updated, I've been asking Lex for a while now and did post up on Japukmeets if anything had been decided Seems MR2OC have taken over sorting Boxhill this year according to Janey (Lil Red) on jukmeets I was trying to think is this the 5th or 6th year for Bolney ( 2002 i think was our first meet ) Bolney is always a great meet, hopefully the newbies will adhere to the no leaving rubbish as last year there was a problem and the Stage pub wrote complaining, However they need to leave out dustbins as they did in all the previous years, Just to add : Bolney meet has West Sussex Police presence, they attend in unmarked Evos etc , so becareful coming down the motorway past Gatwick as they will catch any speeders, you won't know as they are in Jap cars.. although Daz and Lex i beleive request a presence "at the actual static meet " as a deterent so we get no fly bys etc. Bolney village is very small and the road is lined up both sides for avout a mile with cars and pedestrians viewing the cars
  15. Looks great Lui Would assume they are low pressure units as with Carbon bonnets you have to be careful using struts, My mate has just fitted these on his Skyline, Much better than that old stick And no more wonky bonnets when open cool looks too
  16. Acutually thinking about it i'll have chat with Lex on Tuesday at the Ace and see how things are shaping up with this years Bolney 07 meet and what this years theme will be " Beauty and the beast last year) Hopefully a confirmed date has been decided upon Any news and I will post up dates
  17. Where have you been hiding ?/ Bolney has been running now for 5years poss 6 You must be new to the Jap car scene ??? Bolney is the big yearly Jap meet , we take over Bolney village and the Stage Pub and work alongside the Police so not to get idiots showboating , stricty static show , courtsey of Lex over at Japukmeets forum We respect the villagers and leave at the end of the day quietly and leave no litter,, hence why we get invited back every year
  18. MR2OC are running Boxhill this year March 3rd is being mentioned as for Bolney, Lex and Daz are still working on it, 21st April has been mentioned. More info will be forthcoming when dates are confirmed
  19. You were welcome Lui mate, Hope plenty of people recognised their cars on the slide show, Great night.... just bloody freezing, I think the thanks should all be directed to you and the other guys that helped putting on a fantastic evening, It was great night for me as it was my last Supra meet with my Supra as it goes on Friday and I pick up the Skyline, I'm taking a short interlude and having a play with a Skyline for a bit, Hope to return to a Supra in the very near future, The price i got offered for my Supra..... i'd have been a fool to say no ....
  20. that could be a interesting drive!!! to say the least in snow
  21. Yep Lui and a few others have put alot of time into this Well done guys and thanks Lets hope the weather is good as I know it will be a huge success
  22. will be last outing with my Supra, but what an end to owning a fantastic car, Just hope it doesn't snow or we'll all just be looking at "white blobs"
