Do these work in the same way as an RCD ? Say, one wall socket, a surge protected extension lead, appliance plugged into extension lead and a fault occurs in the wall socket...something that would trip an RCD...will the appliance still receive current ?

My sympathies Jamie. I caught it from the kids in my mid thirties. Spots in my mouth, round me gonads and up me arse. The doctor thought it was hilarious / really bad in not so convincingly equal amounts. Looking forward to getting shingles in a few years time too.

This is a difficult one. Not sure how to react...I dont know if IGAF or if IDGAF. Maybe I should come across as GABF even though deep down I only GATF. Perhaps after all, I'm kidding myself and IRRRGAF. What would Ed think if I sold my car I wonder. Would he go as far as a LAAW ? LISD sometimes.
