  1. I remember RSE talking about this car nearly 2 years ago. I can't see any difference since back then, so I'm surprised that it never even got finished or tested (or maybe it did and I missed it?). Something to steer clear of, methinks.
  2. Mine went for a couple of months like it until I got round to changing the seals myself. I reckon you might be okay, just take some spare oil with you and check the oil very regularly.
  3. Looks like no more than 2" pipework and it looks to have been bent with a hammer and anvil. As for the backbox, looks like a novel way to recycle baked beans tins!
  4. Similar to how mine was. I believe it's to do with which valve seal is fubar'd and what position that valve is in when the engine has fully stopped (e.g. fully closed, fully open, etc.)
  5. Today I am recovering from a night in Antwerp, spent drinking far too many delicious beers made by mad Belgian monks.
  6. My old soop went from having a barely noticable wisp of smoke to the batmobile smoke screen in only a few days.
  7. Sounds like it might be a leaking valve stem seal Doh, beaten to it!
  8. Christ, sorry to hear this Greg. Just a thought, but my old man had something very similar and was in agony for a while - he eventually pinned it on Lyme's disease. The doctors were very skeptical and many wouldn't believe him, but he found one that did and treated him for it. After 18 months of agony, he's nearly back to 100% now.
  9. For a milisecond I thought it was serious, but then I thought "since when has Ed had a girlfriend?!"
  10. You need something like this, Jamie: http://www.dogcamsport.co.uk/motorsports-car-camera-kits.htm
  11. I used to have the RE050a's on my old BPU supe and, whilst obviously it's nowhere near your league, I can happily say they were the best tyres I have ever used.
  12. Ah bugger. Right when I'm out of the country as well It'll be a bargain for someone though.

It's not bad mate - Rotterdam is rather quiet, but I'm enjoying the Dutch beer I'm also off to Amsterdam for the weekend, to help make things more interesting!

Hello mate! How's tricks? Last time I saw you, you were planning on selling up - what are driving about in these days?

Hiya Col, how's tricks mate? Still doing shiny bits on the side? The rain's the least of my worries mate - as of 2 weeks ago, I'm officially a Dad of a beautiful (if loud!) baby girl Besides, I just worked 5 weeks in the very North-Western point of Ireland where if it ain't raining it's considered a drought!
  17. Hi all, I just thought I'd start getting back into the Supra scene having taken a few years out for working overseas. I've moved back to the UK / Europe now for work and will be looking at buying another TT in the next 3 to 6 months, this time a manual. So I just thought I'd make my first post in a long time, as I'll be browsing the forum and brushing up on my Supra knowledge for the coming months
  18. I'm living in Qatar at the moment If you head south of Doha towards the Sealine resort, you can kick back there and have fun on the dunes. Some nights they have the hill-climb events as well - heavily tuned Landcruisers tring to get up the steepest dune they can find as fast as possible. Where are you staying? If you're unlucky enough to be stuck in Al Khor then yes, it is pretty bloody dreary!
  19. I don't get it, have I missed some recent poignant news article or something?
  20. Many happy returns, old chap
  21. Check the plugs and the connections to the coil packs.
  22. Rich on here has some bucket seats with subframes for sale, they're just a simple bolt-in fitment.
  23. All good here mate, starting with a new employer in Qatar on monday
