  1. They look good and will probably work ok but redstuff pads are a pile of shite, try some proper pads like endless or even performance friction . Beat me aswell, bugger
  2. With road tyres i normally start them off at stock pressures, then after 20 mins of driving or so check them again and you`ll find theyve gone up to around 40 psi, drop them down again to around 36, some people put a couple of psi in at the start to reduce tyre roll but i find they overheat quicker, if your on slicks start them off around 28psi and adjust accordingly, you need a couple of laps to get slicks to start to work though before that they are a bit slippy, have a good day, wish i was going but its the wifes birthday so no go.
  3. I got static noise tested with a nurspec full decat/baffle out and passed, it was funny as the guy said rev to 4k so i got to 3 and held it he shouts over no 4k but it passed anyway, i`d take some sort of baffle though as its a long way to go and watch.
  4. Very nice, i`d like to eat my dinner off it.
  5. Good info there, is it worth changing antiroll bars for improving handling?
  6. Thats got to be everyones worst nightmare, crashing over there so far away, i`m going to sort some proper insurance for when i go back next year, dangerous place the ring.
  7. Mines in that bolt(lexus bolt mod) your cold start seems a bit low, mines more like 90 psi, tickover and cruise is ok though.
  8. Yes i did get abit carried away that day;)
  9. Nice looking car, should sell easily.
  10. Is that the only tool in your box kieren, remind me not to let you work on my car,
  11. Blimey, i`ll see if allan wants to buy it back:)
  12. So you will defo keep up at donington next time then dangerous
  13. Does the disc seem loose, ie you can pull it forwards slightly if so then the handbrake shoes are catching, if you cant move the disc at all then its siezed on the hub, i think theres 2 treaded holes in the disc to screw bolts into which pushes the disc off.

    Peace of mind

Ive just replaced mine, i could pull the inner bearing race off the actual hub with bare hands it was that bad, also the grease looked like grinding paste, not good,
  15. Looking good mate, thought you werent ever going on a track or strip tho,
  16. I mainly use mine for trackdays so it gets a bit of stick.
  17. Cant believe youve still got this vicky, if only i had a spare 10.5k, good luck well worth the £
  18. Whats this facebook all about then, i could do with a couple of new mates:d
  19. Sounds like a pretty good setup, ive got some agx shocks with 4 settings, i tried a firmer/slower damper rate at the ring but it made the car understeer more, also what tyres were you using that weekend and well done with the 8,25 lap!!
  20. Need 1 as mine was seized in the hub when i changed it.
  21. Well 1 way to look at it greg, your supra ownership was never a happy time, remember last year when we 1st met on the mids gumball the cars been a nightmare since, ive never met anyone with such bad luck with cars and kept coming back for more. Anyway if you fancy popping out on a trackday real soon i`ll take you out, stick around buddy.
  22. Waterpump is a cambelt off job, theres a guide on here somewhere, ive done mine and its not to bad, budget for a belt and tensioner/idler if it aint been done recently.
  23. Yeh i was just being stingy in the hope there was a pair lying around, off to mr t it is then
  24. If anyones got a pair of these knocking around spare or surplus new or little use i could use them, cash waiting
