Not doing any timing, my other half wouldent let me go without all the safety items:eyebrows:

I use 1 of those easy bleed kits but had to modify the reservoir cap to fit, then pressurise the system with a spare tyre and bleed away,,,,,, easy.

I did consider that route, probably a last resort, nobody stocks cages for our cars, must be a very small call for them!

Having ordered a cusco cage in april i picked it up yesterday and it was for a mk111, bollocks, im on the nerburg trip with steve r and the lads so really need 1 for next week if anyone can help, traders aswell i have the cash waiting.

Just picked up my rollcage and its got jza70 on it, does anyone know if this will fit my mkiv before i ring my suppliers and start ranting, thanks in advance guys.

Its always the same with these cars, once you get into it theres other stuff to be replaced.

Sounds strange but i`m getting a whirring type noise from 1 of my rear tyres, comes on at about 60 up till 100, probably sounds similar to a duff wheel bearing but ive swopped the wheels over and hey presto the whirring has moved with it, anyone else had this problem, also had the wheels rebalanced.

A bpu with decent suspension and brakes with a set of slicks will beat allmost anything on track in the dry.

Yes that, also on uk`s the traction system applies the rear brakes:blink: , scary on track, thats the 1st thing i switch off after the stereo.

Ive always used my car for trackdays and wanted to fit some safety gear ages ago, going to the ring is an excuse to spend the dosh really, looking forward to it now.

No problem mr kermit, i`m sure we will spot that green thing a mile off, ,just got a few things to do on the car now, rollcage seats, harnesses etc.Is it worth taking a spare set of brake pads along, obviously with 3 days ring driving is it likely`i`ll wear a set out?.
