  1. The car still sits fine, i don't really know what i'm looking for either but my friend is a pretty competant mechanic so he knew what he was looking at and he thought originally that it was the top plate thing that the spring sits in but he said that they look fine too but the noise is getting worse. Would a broken shock absorber do this?
  2. I know this is going to be nearly impossible to resolve online but just wondered if anyone on here has had a similar problem. The other day i was driving along minding my own business when ....... BANG, uncovered manhole in the road caught my back wheel. I didn't notice anything wrong immediatley, still drove alright, no wobbling at higher speeds nothing. The next day me & the missus went out and when i hit a bump in the road it sounded like the car bottomed out on the same wheel i had hit the day previous. Pulled over had a look couldn't see anything obvious so carried on, hit another patch of bumpy road and i can her the bang again. I took the car round to my mates and put it up on his ramp and we had the wheel off and had a good look around the underside of the wheel. Everything seems to be in place nothing looks like it has slipped off or broken or bent, put the wheel back on but i still get the same problem. I think it is slowly getting worse too or i am being my usual paranoid self. Too sum it up, it is as if the spring has lost it's elasticity or something and is allowing the car to bottom out. The noise itself sounds like a dead bang, metal against metal, deep sort of noise. I'm open to sugestions peeps, i can't think of anything else. Thanks for reading. Ben.
  3. On my last one of 4, finish at 7am, tired too. But i get 4 nights off now WOO HOO. (sorry don't mean to rub it in, feel sorry for ya mate)
  4. Supe not on untill the second or third one but it's quite interesting anyway. I was the cookie monster raymanuk LOL.
  5. Quick reminder, on in 20 mins everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. Not to worry, got fed up trying to trace the wires so i have run a new one from source, thanks for the sugestions guys.
  7. They are aftermarket lights, i know cause i put them on. But the wiring i used was from the original ones which are put there by Toyota on the GZ models i think by looking through some old threads on here. Which is why i assumed they must be fused somewhere, they even fade out when you shut the door like the main interior light.
  8. Just been and had a look, all other lights working fine, no fuses blown in the engine fuse panel or the one in the drivers footwell. I am absolutely lost now, have taken the lights out and checked them by connecting them directly up to the battery and they work fine. Maybe a relay or something? Just clutching at straws. Any ideas welcome.
  9. Thats what i originally thought but the one the other side has gone out too which lead me to believe that a fuse had gone. Will have another look today.
  10. Was in London filming the next couple of shows yesterday and i can confidently say that my Supe will be in the show on the 2nd or 3rd Episode i can't remember which one it was, there was free booze there! But it isn't a long shot so you'll need to watch closley. Trying to get them to put more footage in and negotiations are going well at the moment.

I'm up for that if i'm not working.
  12. Anyone know if there is a seperate fuse for the footwell lights? all the other lights are working fine but these have gone out after the light was "accidently" kicked off:complain: . It is not a standard light they have been replaced with led lights. I have reconnected the light but neither footwell light is working. BTW The roof interior light is working. Thanks Ben.
  13. LMFAO Thats the joke at work too, every one will be watching Sky and saying "look at that fat bloke with the nice car" LOL. Hope they leave the car in though or i will be dissapointed.
  14. Just got the times and dates through, 9th January 9pm Sky One. Don't know if they have edited my car out or left it in but the show should be quite interesting so give it a watch if you are not busy.
  15. Seen this one on a driveway over the past couple of days, wondering if it was anyone on here? Don't want to go into too much detail of it's where-abouts on a public forum but it is in the Spalding area on a driveway.

  18. Just thought i'd drop a thread in to wish you all a Happy Christmas, and a big thank you for all the help i've had over the past year. Will hopefully make it to more meets this year. Have a good one.
  19. Thought they done well with the time they had, as i read that Warner Brothers had to keep the length to a maximum of 3 hours. Hope that they bring out extended versions like Lord of the Rings though. I think that you would do well to read the books first though because then the films are like a visual representation. Cor just read my thread through and it makes me sound like a film critic!!!! How sad am i!!!!!!!!!
  20. Girlfrind saw you, got excited and text me your REG. Anyone on here?
  21. Hi all, have just got my EPIA MII10000 motherboard, am trying to install XP but after copying the initial setup files, when it tries to start setup the screen changes to this every time "STOP: c0000221 unknown hard error \SystemRoot\System32\ntdll.dll" I know this copy of XP works as i have just installed it on my other system, and all went fine. the HDD i'm using come from the system i just installed it on so i know the HDD is ok. Basically i'm changing the HDD from one motherboard to another and doing a fresh install. Any ideas???????
