Hi All Could someone please tell me if this is the power steering pump, i'm assuming it is as this is where the noise is coming from when i turn the wheels. The fan belt runs around it and it is connected to the PAS fluid pot. i've circled the area where it is as i don't have any closer pictures as i am at work. I've done a search on here but i can't get any pictures and i need to order one ASAP. I also had a look on the engine download and this is the part i think. Number 11. This is the book i had to read, and Paul told me i've got to listen to the CD everyday for 28 days:music: . Got to go and see him again on saturday to see how i thought it all went this weekend when he came round and done his thing. To be honest i don't feel much different, except that i am finding it easier to follow the plan since i saw him. If you are in doubt then don't pay for one of the sessions, he does a hypnotising DVD apparently cause he is sending my nan a copy. Still lot's of filming to do though, got sent the dates through today and it is practically every Saturday untill the end of January and a few other random days too. Also have to do a home diary for 28 days to so am trying to incorporate my Supe into that too. (probably won't air though:( ) Thanks for the support though everyone.

Not yet, just started with the mind re-programming, have had Paul round though working his magic with my family. Seemed like a nice bloke, got lots of more filming to do with him & without him yet though. Off to Cambridge this morning to go into a Body - Pod? whatever that is, sounds good though.

UPDATE: Just got the times and dates through, 9th January 9pm Sky One. Don't know if they have edited my car out or left it in but the show should be quite interesting so give it a watch if you are not busy. Wanted to let you all know that my Supe is going to be on T.V some time in January or February (will let you know when, when i know! Still filming at the moment). I am part of a featured family in a Sky One show called, Ahem "Paul McKenna I Can Make You Thin" . As anyone who saw me at the Fairmile Meet a couple of months ago will tell you that i'm a bit large but enough about that...... MY SUPE IS GONNA BE ON T.V, they did a bit of filming in the boot and me pulling up and a bit of the interior. They wanted to show my hobbies and interests and that was mine. So keep an eye out and i'll let you all know more when i know.

Hi all just sittin here with my mate trying to find a company capable of fitting an aftermarket supercharger or more specifically one for my mates mitsubishi gallant, without much luck Anyone have any ideas on where we might find such a company or if this can even be done. Thanks.

That was me mate, am staying a few days at my sisters in Spalding. Fixed my busted headlight now in case you noticed, one blew on the A1. Nice Supe by the way, UK spec if i'm not mistaken. Well i was pointing out the differences to my girlfriend anyway so if it's not, it's a very good conversion. Nice to see you about i'm usually up this way every couple of months so i will keep my eyes peeled. Hope to see you again.

Well it's been 4 weeks now since i decided to give up smoking. I did not tell anybody cause i didn't want all the support then start again so i have kept it quiet. As i had some extra cash and tons of time in which to occupy myself i decided this would be a good time to do some thing to my Supe. So over the last few weeks i have done some stuff i thought i would post some pics on here to see what you all thought. (some of the pics are camera phone quality, soz) First i started on the boot, i have put in: 2 X 12" Vibe Subs in a custom made box, which i made. A 1000W (Bridged) Kenwood Amp. 1.5 Farad Powercap. A Pentium 3 computer system with 40Gb Hdd & M1 ATX PSU (custom built) A total of 48 LED's and 5 Neon Tube Lights. (I havent set the PC up yet cause i have run out of money and i can't afford the Single Din Touch Screen Monitor Yet ) Then i started on the engine. Just a bit of paint and some hoses, but it makes all the difference. Before (With just the primer on the cover) After (Still need to get rad hoses) Then i thought i'd give the dash a seeing too. Also in these pics you can see the footwell LED i have done (same time as i done the boot) and the 7" tft screen i have fitted in the back which is connected to a DVD player in my glovebox. Before Dash After So what do you think? I'm happy with the results but my missus wont be happy when she gets the bank statement

I just had my plugs changed and they didn't change them but i pulled one off just now and the two wires inside were just flapping about there was nothing seperating them. I don't know if this is normal or not and the wires were easily pused out the back of the block they were in. nothing seemed to fit together very snugly I.E the wires into the actual plug bit the cap fits on to.

Well have had the top of the engine off again nothing seemed to be loose but gave all six of the wires and caps a good pushing and took it round the block a couple of times and it didn't do it but the fault was intermittent so i will drive it home and see if it happens again. Other than that is it advisable to change these caps anyway? Cheers

Not close enough to have it transported to, the closest to my knoledge is Toyota themselves and they are about 20 miles away. It is also not a very nice place to leave my car, at my work, lots of theft and trouble around these parts. I would at least need to get it home in the morning when i finish work.

Thanks will have a look later as i still have my tools in the back of the car, if i do find a broken one will i be able to do a quick DIY fix untill i gan get it to a garage tomorrow or will i have to try and nurse it home same as i did to get here. Also will this be doing any damage to my engine as that is the last thing i want. Thanks for your help.

without sounding stupid what are coil pack clips, are they under the plastic but on top of the engine ans i have had that bit off to spray it today and yesterday and could have disturbed something. Thanks.

Just on my way to work when my car decides its gonna lose all acceleration and just go to idle and misfire every time i push the throttle pedal. So i nurse it to the side of the road and slowly push the accelerator furthur and furthur until it starts to pick up on the revs. The car starts to idle and drive normally again, till about 2 miles down the road when it starts to do it again this time up a hill with a que of traffic behind me. I find a safe place pull over again follow the same procedure of revving it a little higher each push of the accelerator untill it returns to normal. Just as i pull up at my work it starts again and i sort it again. But now i am at work i am a bit stuck as i don't know what to do i got to get to and from work for the next few days and more importantly i need to get home in the morning. Any body with any ideas on what it could be? I will need to take it to a garage tomorrow but i would feel better if i had half an idea of what it was. I feels someting like fuel starvation but i just had it serviced don't know if the fuel filter was done though. Do supe's have an inline filter? if they do, where is it. Sorry for all the questions but i'm a bit of an engine numpty. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks all.
