Useless Dog!!!

That poor Raptor! I would hope its easy to treat, but as you say, he does seem to want to pick everything up! Maybe you'll have to sell your Supra to pay for all the treatment. ;)

Luckily he's insured and Jons dog

The scar from his stitches is massive

No wonder our pet insurance premiums have gone through the roof! ;)

Don't try and blame it on Jon. You wouldn't be without them :)

I'd imagine it will be very cold and nasty at 3am for your 'quarantined' walks as well. I hope he doesn't get 'man flu' too!

one of mine got kennal cough about 18 months ago, a 9 year old black lab, as we have a 6 year old choclate one as well, it was past acrossed to him so we had 2 dogs with it, what i did was give them a childs cough mixture just to sooth there throats, as it sounds really rasp when they were coughing, i cant remember if he had any thing from the vets, i will ask jen this afternoon and get back to you.

the vet has always said to me anything you can give a child you can give to a dog, and i have used this advice now for years.

Blimey he must have been the runt of the litter :(. But still he is a lovely dog just a bit high maintenance.

I wonder that, you don't tend to see 'runts' so much in pure bred litters, none of them were obviously runty, but I think he probably is!!!

Yeah it's nose to nose contact, vet said Stig might get away with it, liek sometimes humans don't get colds that they are in contact with. We will see.

He's got antibiotics to prevent it getting worse as it can lead to pnemonia etc.

7k. yes. Most of that is Irritable Bowel disease related, steroids, veterinary diet etc, then the stitches, mites, plus others bits n bobs.

I call him sicknote.

It'll actually clear up if you do nothing, but antibiotics will speed it up, and help prevent him infecting others, it's not serious. Puppy went to the pub last night, wasn't sick in the car, and enjoyed it as much as his owner, although we limited his beer at 5 weeks :)

You know, the car is one thing we never had any trouble with. Both of them just lay down and went to sleep. Hmm, actually, sicknote did have his moments of painting the place in liquid poo. Nice.

His obedience trainer was saying she's had a few people call up to say their dogs had kennel cough :(

Must be doing the rounds. They went into kennels a few weeks back and thats when she came back with it. The boy has started to do it but i think he just feels left out :)
