Cheers for all the comments fellas. Im really proud of what ive done. The only thing I didnt do myself is paint it. I didnt have the bottle to give it a go, (which was the right decision giving the finish of the paint job. Credit to the body shop thet did the work.

The worst part was after I put the engine in and fired it up, it only lasted 15 mins ticking over and then cut out again.

It turned out that after taking the engine out again and TOTALLY stripping it down I found that the engine I bought must have been standing in a breakers yard outside for ages as the pistons had rust on top of them and the head wad full of carbon, so the whole engine had to be cleaned and the bores honed. But on the other hand atleast i know that ive got a vertually brand new engine.

Ive done a step by step progress on http://www.japnortheast.co.uk its quite an interesting read.

Heres the link if anyone would like to check it out.
