Ram-raid this morning!!!!

Saw this on the way to my local station this morning.

So long Nationwide cash point :search:

Apparently they were trying to dig the cash point out for about 15 minutes and then they sped off... without it - DOH!!!

They left a transit there and a pajero they were using to light the place up.

It took the police about 30-40 minutes to get there. :innocent: (no offence and no comment as I know there are some on here... )

clicky clicky for biggy

We had one down this way a few months back at a petrol station.

The thickies had driven the JCB up to the cashpoint on the forecourt, but when they raised the bucket to dig it out the arm got stuck in the roof & pulled the roof down on top of the JCB.

Not very bright!

Freaky....

Not a digger but at Haslemere Train Station in Surrey at about 03:00hrs a Suzuki Vitara ram raided the ATM point. The Vitara was in the office area this moring when I dropped the wife off to work.

OK - so we now know the real reason that Fifty needs another Vitara. "Broken ECU" eh? :D

Surely there are easier ways of stealing money than putting a JCB through a wall like that!!

I must admit though, if it's taking the coppers 30 - 40 mins to get to an emergency then at least things are improving....:D

Yeah should have cut their loses and used the digger as a get away vehicle :D

There has to be at least £100,000 in there though, at the beginning of the month and all.

I suppose it depends on who said It took 30-40 mins to get there. The Media love to stir it up!

well apparently it took about 30 minutes and that was according to someone that lives very near to where it happened.

They would only have been coming from the nearest town which is about 10-15 minutes at the very worst.

So I suppose it's not that bad.
