Class One Posted July 23, 2007 Share Posted July 23, 2007 I think Linda made the valid point that it's probably the fact that you've got italics for your font rather than standard. You should remember as well that VDRS is only an option in terms of dealing with an offence. I'm suprised he gave you a ticket rather than a rectification notice, perhaps he was just one of those rectal traffic cops. I have a 3/4 sized plate on the front of mine, but made sure that the font was completely standard in size/spacing etc just to avoid any unwanted attention.. There is a legal size allowed for imports, I carry the relevant law document in the dashboard just incase, but italics are a no-no. Craigsplates will do you a leagal plate that is small with the BS standard on it to show it's legal.
