HOW TO GUIDE - Dying your carpet Black

After doing Tigger's well over a year ago I've finally got around to using the rest of the dye up on mine. It's surprising the difference it makes. All I need now is to source the seat track covers in black.

Next dying project; the roof lining, but before I start that I need to get hold some black visors, visor holders and map lamp assembly.

Sorry for resurrecting that old thread.....

But it still is a very good guide!!

I wanted to ask how the dyed carpets perform in the long run.

Is there any fade or something? or is it basically just like a OEM black carpet?

Also - which dye turned out to be the best to do the job?

Thanks a lot!

Herbert
