Before getting to this stage, green primer was rolled over the blended and repaired areas, then sprayed with a black witness coat which was rubbed down to remove any imperfections. http://img339.imageshack.us/img339/323/image003nr1.jpg Note the apertures for indicator lights. The door, boot and bonnet apertures were sprayed with the finish colour first. This is because the doors, bonnet and boot will be assembled before the final coats are applied to ensure an even colour over the entire surface of the car.
