I think you need something along the lines of this colour.

In this style instead of the pink and paint the wheels graphite or black

Could anyone photoshop that red in place of the pink and with graphite wheels to get a better idea?

 

That would look the nuts mate, upto you though. Just thought I'd throw some ideas in the mix :D

How about a fade spray job?One colour at the bottom,fading to another colour for the main colour.Say A deep,deep crimson in flip along the bottom sides and front and rear valances,fading into black,also in a flip colour for the main car.You could get some great combinations.Would be expensive though.Crackin' motor!

Remember to get laquer deep enough to swim in.

 

One saw a pink 1930's Hotrod dragster with so much of the stuff it looked like a boiled sweet- a good thing imo.

 

I like purple, but it's got to be a really punchy purple- the Lambo looks washed out imo.
