well i just rang, for whoever is scared to ring lol,

yes they said its the 1st of september they launch, i questioned him about finding it hard to believe, and it sounds very promising,

he said personal use is classed as not business use,

i asked if going to and from work is fine, yes

asked about mods, not a problem,

there is a fixed excess of 500, which doesnt bother me, purchase value of the car must be under 16k.

give them a ring ureself and ask away.

lol

Christ on a bike!

I'm an underwriter for Royal Sun Alliance and I really can't see how this could be possible, i'm forever the optimist though so i'm hoping.

Tell you what though if its true I have a feeling our exec team might be getting very hot under the collar right about now!

I am meeting with the owner of the insurance company tommorrow afternoon

so If anyone has questions please post up and I will try to get the answers but so far it looks promising-got to say I wish I had thought of it!

As soon as I heard about it I thought I would post it up as there would be a likelyhood of interest(understatement of the year)

Mista v - as an underwriter how exactly do they assess risk and premiums?

if this happens surely all the insurance companies will have to re think policy?

it does sound too good to be true-but so did flying to spain for a tenner seven years ago
