S7EVE Posted August 7, 2006 Author Share Posted August 7, 2006 ** IMPORTANT ALL RR ATTENDEES PLEASE NOTE ** Spoke with Greg @ Western Performance earlier to make sure everything was ok and plan a few things. However, I have been informed that Western Performance have double booked this day now with a D1 meeting at Silverstone. Having then spoken to Paul (owner), I have been informed that this is a big opportunity for Western Performance to get there drift car into the D1 so an opportunity not to be missed. There is no way they will be able to carry out there arrangements with us. So the RR on August 20th is no longer on im afraid. Absolutely gutted does not express how I feel at the moment. A lot of hard work filling spaces and making arrangements for nowt! BUT.... Paul could not stop apologising to me and is keen to make amends. Basically we can have any weekend we want in September and as a way to say sorry, Paul said he will allow all people who wish to go on the RR for half price and supply some food for the day as a way to say sorry to us all. Having looked at various calendars the best date I feel is going to be either Sunday 17th or Sunday 24th, but this all depends on you lot. Paul has sent his sincere apologies and would like us to all go over in September. Thoughts? Once again, I apologise guys. A very disappointed and demotivated - Steve. Definately NOT the 17th for me. I could at a push make the 24th - although the flight gets in at 05:00 or something daft so I'll be dead on my feet!
