Keeping technical here

Owners Manual says 10W-30 for most conditions.

It list ranges for different climates.

From -29 deg C to around 10 deg C use 5W-30

From -18 deg C to 38 deg C+ use 10W-30

From -10 deg C to 38 deg C and beyond use 15w- 40

In warmer climates with temperature not drippong below 0 deg C 20W- 50

I'm using Mobil 1 but am changing to Valvoline 5w50.

Been reccomend the Valvoline 5w50 or Castrol RS buy some enthusiastic macanics who race as well.

If you havnet seen it already theres quite a bit of waffle on http://www.mkiv.com.

Terry, would that Mobil 15/50 be good for a BPU+ Supe? I only ask because I know that yours is a monster and has different needs than a bpu. I am using alot of oil and am thinking of switching to the thicker stuff that you use.

Cheers

J.
