People post up pics of their own cars on here, I would suggest, to garner positive comments and gain kudos. Nowt wrong with that at all, same goes for BB.. who can find the worst shed and photo it. It seems no-one minds if those pictures are of chavvy novas, cos everyone laughs at them, but if it's a supra:thumbdown: ooh no, can't be dissing the supra. I'm on here to gain knowledge about my car, what works, what doesn't work, what's a waste of time and money and what is the best thing you can do with your hard earned. If I have a problem, I'll ask the members of this site for advice, tips and help. I'm afraid i don't know enough to offer help back, but every day is a schoolday. There are some Supes on here that really aren't my cup of tea, but if asked my opinion I'll just say "not for me thanks" instead of rip it apart. Btw, yes I'll defend some kid tatting up his Nova (and have done), cos it's better than Novaboy being a tree hugging lentil slurping left handed lesbian trombone playing sandalista undoing wheelnuts of Freelanders and plastering incredably adhesive stickers to windscreens of anything that does less than 40mpg. That said, I think a lot of these kids are twats for some of the stupid driving they do, but barryboys is all about taking pictures of cars, and not hosting videos of rather questionable driving. Have to admit I felt for Yulia when I saw them slaggin gher car off. The shit she has had to deal with recently, and then she has to defend her preferences to a bunch of ignorant armchair heroes. Granted it's funny when when you slate really really crap cars, but, then your site goes overboard. For instance, as you're on here you should know that the TS bonnet on that car is the best for heat rejection...and IF that Supra actually had a big single it would be a very good idea....it's also not cheap, and it's from one of the biggest tuners in Japan (it's not some deamon tweaks bollox). Yes the wing isn't great but that's it....everything else is pretty standard. You can't compare this site and yours, your's serve no function - this is a technical forum for people with a certain vehicle, yours adds nothing to this world. But that's it with your site, it's had it's moment and it was ammusing, now it's spiteful and bitter - probably like the users of it. When folks modify their vehicles they do it in the public domain, therefore they must accept negative criticism along with the positive, perhaps even more so when those people are happy to post their vehicles on their own websites. You make the classic mistake of assuming all BB members have dull cars, they don't but even if they did, what bearing does that have on the ability to criticise other cars? Example, I happen to think the latter half of the KT Tunstall album is a bit dull, but who am I to criticise? By your reasoning I would have to make and release a far better album before I can pass comment on hers. Have a good look through the site to see what it's about, or not if it annoys you that much. I wasn't previously aware that all web-sites had to serve a useful purpose and 'give something back' to the world. Is there a rule book for this that you know of? What is does do of course, is to allow people a chance to let off steam, to shout and swear about something that particularly annoys or amuses them in modern society. It's not alone, there's ChavScum, or grumpycunt.co.uk for example, these are all "nasty" sites. Essentially, it's Hotel Bastardo, if you want soft toilet paper, go to Hotel Gayboy.
