Branners
Can I just say the roads at the moment are a nightmare for a single turbo RWD car. Took mine out for a run before putting it in the garage for the rest of the winter and theres just zero grip out there. Even in a straight line with RLTC set to wet the car was spinning up its wheels at 60mph. Went to go past some old biddy who pulled out in front of me and the car misfired all the way past her. I hate to think what the car would be like without RLTC. So the moral of the story is be safe out there and drive like an old biddy. JB

Gamer
It's just too tempting though with the cold weather and all. Car really seems to be pulling nicely with the chilled air.
Pete
Wrong time to be having the decat treatment then really! Glad I've got the week off, it's gone foggy here now too, so no doubt freezing fog later.
Branners
Im running a t-61 on stock SMIC so the cold air really makes a difference to the performance, just shows me more and more that I need a proper FMIC. JB
Burna
Span mine yesterday Seriously thinking about buying a cheap car for the winter. Seems to me the roads are worse this year Drove the Supra all winter last year with no problems at all. Mike B
I live in the countryside - and ended up with a beautiful '96 TT6 sup on on my head this time last year - a mile from the house. I even slipped over running back home in a pair of trainers! (adding insult to injury!) There is NO grip whatsoever right now - Salt - Water - Mud from the fields - and no heat to dry anything out. I'd be better off swapping the GY F-1's for a set of ice skates. Be careful out there!!
Branners
From last year I certainly dont remember the car being quite as lively as it was today, but I hadnt been in it for quite a bit of time and certainly hadnt put my foot down in the wet so I thought it was just me. Nic
Oh how I envy you guys My car is loving the cooler weather here at the moment, 22C sunny and no humidity during the day, 16C in the evening. Christmas meet at my place anyone?
trooper
I've just bought this year's winter car. An Omega 2.2 with a whopping 140BHP! It's like driving a water bed and about as fast On the plus side, there's enough room in it for a party!
Kip
Have to agree with Branners, very lively! Didn't notice it this bad last year, even with slip control still lighting it up and then when it cuts in to snow mode, that's a bugger!
Guest chiefvinso
I have just got another car for going to and from work and will keep the soop for when it is dry. Even in a straight line at snakes.

whitesupratt
How many people use the supe through the winter? or do most garage it? Not only thinking of grip, but looking after the car as well?

I didnt find the roads too bad, but I'm going to try to avoid giving it some. Suprised to still see so many people hairing about like its summer - idiots. Branners
RLTC should not be used in snow. It will perform a continuous cut on the engine which their documentation states could damage the engine. JB
