White tyre letters

I think they're definitely cool imo on older style tyres with large sidewalls (BF Goodrich etc.), not sure how they'd look with the modern Michelin design, I still think it would look good.

 

I'd say give it a go with a white paint pen one one side and if you aren't a fan you should be able to get it off with some white spirit/apc.

i thought about the white pen but really can't be bothered with all that

 

I saw a Blue classic with Black wheels with BF Goodridge tyres on it with white letters as an option

which got me thinking as it looked quite good

Fair enough, I assume the blue classic you're on about is the same/similar to the one you posted above? It does look great with the BF lettering. I think you can get semi-permanent sticker kits if you wanted to give that a go, but I believe the majority of them are in the style below, which wouldn't suit the car:
