IIRC Matts car landed from Japan on a HKS FCON Gold ECU already mapped running 1.3 bar. I don't think there has ever been a Supra imported from Japan running hybrids although I am happy to be proven wrong. I know HKS cams were talked about but I don't think any investigation ever happened.

Don't know what Turbos its on. Only what Matt said.

Could be hybrids but doesn't look anything but standard but then I don't know what I'm looking for lol

Appears the have the tapping of aftermarket cams and the controller but not fussed for now.

See what happens to them. The maps not been played with so fingers crossed its all good for a good while

Hey all.

Little update

Not really posted much about The car for a long time.

Got a good few miles under the belt when I first got it. But had such little time to drive I got married the week after buying it so the inevitable happened and a 5 month old is now zapping always all my time and funds, aswell as a slightly needy EVO This year and with Ring Trips etc. EVO had to come first. I don’t intend to sell this so in no rush. Done once and done properly(until I wanna change something again lol)

So far.

New Front bumper

New facelift bumper bar

New OE badge

New front lip

New crash bar

All complete new brackets/seals/

Even ordered new OE nuts/bolts.

New side markers as one had a crack.

After a few miles last year. It became obvious the handling wants sorting out, there’s quite a lot of feedback through the car on small/short bumps and longer bumps it almost feels very soft.

Can’t find a single bush etc worn/damaged. Huge thanks to Baldy for spending a day going round the car all that time ago! Car is so tidy underside!

So bit the bullet and ordered some coilovers.

See a lot going HKS.

Kinda wanting to be a little different and a few messages to Jerrick at MeisterR a nice new set of GT1’s ordered and are on the way.

I liked the red and black one the car too [emoji23][emoji23]

Been looking at ARB’s to.

Wheels I’ll just wait till the 19” are sold now

I kinda know imagewhat I want :)

Brakes all fitted and bled

Wheels All fitted and torqued up

(With my new Work wheel nuts on as they’ve been sat around a little while)

Not sure if I did the right thing in red ones. But I think I kinda like them.

We’ll see.

Well hope you all like.

Trying to make the car the best I can.

Sorry for crap pics they’re just iPhone ones. I always forget to get good ones [emoji23]
