As a part time taxi driver :D do you know who the GTR boys insure with?

No idea, don't pay attention on that forum tbh and hardly on it lol, sooner the GTR goes to Keron the better lol

If you can agree a buy back of the salvage clause then the £17k agreed value is ok isn't it?

Tbh I doubt I'll even go with sky again, so far competition car insurance have been the best in terms of "extras" on a policy

Just thought unwound update this with everything after I finally got my insurance sorted!!

After being put in touch with a girl called Amy via Facebook that works for sky, she went above and beyond with help and got everything sorted for me! I got the renewal price down to what I was happy with and we also agreed that once the car is done I need to send pictures of everything for their under brokers and then we can adjust the agreed value and slight changes!

Big thanks to her for her professionalism and actually knowing what she was talking about! If anyone needs to deal with sky then i suggest asking for her

I've got to call sky up, as my insurance expires in a couple of weeks.

They've given me a renewal quote, which isn't bad to be fair - but they've not listed any of the mods I've told them about before - and I'd rather have a clear understanding of exactly what they think they are insuring, as opposed to just stating 'other' on modifications.

They've also listed the vehicle age as 1986, and got the value miles out!

I'm going to shop around naturally

Not unusual for them to quote on a mk3 by mistake mate. As for their mods section, think.mine says the same and I ticked almost every box on the modified report form! Lol
