jsnlvxr Posted February 28, 2016 Share Posted February 28, 2016 Hi guys. I've had the supe converted from na auto to tt auto with bpu. I it's running a mines ecu, and hybrids but no boost controller yet so at 0.9 bar. When you give it some stick on a open road just before it changes gear there's a big bang through the exhaust and the car dips quite alot.doesnt feel right that's for sure. np89 Posted February 28, 2016 Share Posted February 28, 2016 Sounds like a misfire. The auto ecu pulls timing just before the gear change. Could be a bad ignition as a result. Do you have an safc or anything else on the go? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Swampy442 Posted February 28, 2016 Share Posted February 28, 2016 When changing gear they do make a sound from a fart to a full blown machine gun depending on your exhaust, the ECU pulls the timing when changing gear I believe. It boost to abiut 14psi on the gauge,pulls fine all the way then just bangs as it cuts to change gear - - - Updated - - - I think I will get a boost controller sorted. Ric Posted February 28, 2016 Share Posted February 28, 2016 It sounds like fuel cut. more than 1 bar for 3 seconds cuts the power. Can feel violent enough.
