Drgray
As title asks, is it worth having on bpu supra that will not cover many miles (3000 per year)? Couldn't really find a thread on this unless I'm blind Any info would be great
LOGIE
Also interested in this...as I have no idea of what they do and im a turbo novice. Catch oil obviously.
tony tt
I haven't one on mine and it does more miles than that. Doesn't affect it not having one as far as I can tell.
Swampy442
Do you need one? No. Will people still fit them? Yes.
LOGIE
Do you need one? No. Will people still fit them? Yes. Kinda my thinking. Bit like a BOV or a turbo timer. Unneeded and over complicate things
marc_p
An oil catch can does nothing until something goes wrong, then it's the difference of shelling out for some head work or an entire block and turbo. I would always recommend one BUT it would have to be a proper one with decent sized pipe work that uses larger welded on fittings, not an eBay special that just fits onto the original fittings. mellonman
not needed ,But you do need to run piping from the crank case breather not just fit a small filter that can leak oil down onto your manifold and catch fire
