Rich.2211
There's been a few TT autos for similar prices to the higher end NA manuals. If you have the cash ready to go then you can nab a bargain. The buyers guide on here is well worth a thorough read Welcome!
Axl
Wise words indeed I have to be honest I stumbled across both my mk2s and mk3 supras maybe fate or divine intervention (again she who will be obeyed) will bring me a mk4 lol:cool:

Jord
TT is really the way to go. Don't discount the auto either, it's a pleasure to drive. I didn't think I'd like an auto either but I'm more than happy.
Dim Sum
I've driven a N/A and a TT. I would 100% agree with others TT is the way forward.
Sted
Welcome to the club TT all the way for me. If you go for an NA go for a manual.

Axl
Ha ha tt it is then folks thanks for the tip on the deep heat lol any know how to get rid of a thumb print on top of my head I won't disregard the auto either I like them but I did drive a tt manual on the weekend it was slightly tweaked and scared the shit out of me I loved it:blink:
Homer
TT is the way to go, but if you do go for an NA the manual is a must in my opinion. Both are very reliable but you should be wary of very low priced TT cars, some are not well looked after and can cost a fortune to fix. The NA's are absolutely bullet proof. Good luck, and always ask on here before buying a car, there's a wealth of knowledge available and many cars are already known to the club
hodge
I have to disagree, you need a big single. If she's having a midlife crisis take advantage of it and go big or go home.
Axl
Sound advice homer thanks I like the na manual I loved my old mk3 na manual and a single turbo would probably land up in a tree with me at the helm lol

To be honest being scared of it is not a bad thing but mine is BPU so running somewhere between 350-400BHP and will be more responsive then a stock unit. A TT in standard form from what i can remember dosent kick in as harshly when the second tubby comes online. After driving one for a while you get used to it anyways. Will have to let you have a quick go in mine and then you can see what Axel means I found it more scary being sat in the passenger seat of my own car:blink:
