If you're going all out, you should buy the Supra model too and swap a 2JZ-GTE, Supra brakes etc into the 2000GT  I'd stick the Supra wheels on it too, and then put the BBS wheels on the Supra.

You could still build the Supra, just glue the bonnet shut :)

I've got 2 Supra models sat ready to build too and about 4 sets of aftermarket alloys!! 2 sets of the BBS as well!

So this is where mine is at, just waiting for a can of paint to finish off the body:

Still not sure sure how to post big pics but they hopefully when expanded the quality is still pretty good despite being from my phone.

Never knew about the aftermarket wheels, currently browsing for some 1/24 scale BBS LM's!

Looks good so far

The only thing I'd do is smooth the Lines on the roof a little with some fine wet and dry, they're too sharp in the kit IMO.

It's a shame that model bodykit sets for the Supra are rare as hell. The only one I've been able to find is the vielside kit, but who wants that...

Gonna try and give making my own ridox set a go, been a while since I've used modeling putting but up for the challenge. Hopefully should have the results in a few weeks

These are what he sent me a while ago. He does f1 cars and aircraft mostly but there is lots of stuff. I have not checked these links and last accessed then 2 or so years ago. So they might not work.

All these apart from the bottom shelf and a couple on the very top i built from kits.

The old skyline at the top has a wierd bozuku paintjob, with carbon decals on the bonnet. i cut the bonnet and put some vents in it and sculpted some flared arches out of modeling clay.

The model T ford at the bottom was just a standard kit that i modified into a hotrod. lowered the chassis a bit too much though. it actualy rests on the ground :p

My dad just sent me this he just finished building

That looks lovely

The only thing that I'd change (and this equally applies to Supra models) would be to dry brush/ sponge some black paint on the outer edges of the transparencies, which gets rid of the white edges you can see on the headlights.
