I can't remember exactly but isn't it one of the ways a silencer is filled to help reduce the emissions or control the noise. Wouldn't go pulling it out just incase it is actually meant to be in there.

 

yes thats what i was thinking but then again i aint sure it looks ugly

Think its supposed to be on there,

 

I had a blitz nur before on a 200sx, snd hsd a bee*r rev limiter, which makes the car backfire.

 

It did similar to your exhaust, parts started coming out from the exhsust itself, debris, stringy metal.

 

 

I sold a hks super drager off a 300zx, that was similar,they seem to rot from the inside out and they arent stainless steel.

 

 

Time for a nice new one :-)

your baffle has smashed, thats just there to dampen the noise abit if i am right ive had a few exhausts do that , think the super drager need to be stainless steel :( i think mine has another hole coming soon, been to a few places to see about getting the pipe section stainless steel'ed but looks like its an expensive job

 

If you are planning to do that fancy sharing the quote, because I have been thinking about doing it too.

think one place was wanting about 500 for the pipework to the back box ............................................ errrm yeah, i wasnt going to pay that much
