One thing i like about the UK spec lights is that the keen eyed will be able to tell it's a UK spec just from the rear cluster. Not sure if Paul mentioned it but might be an idea to wrap the passenger side silencer with some exhaust wrap as I guess you have had to remove the stock heat shield and the fuel pipes aren't that far away! Jap has two rear lights and no fog (unless wired in manually) and UK has one rear light and one fog light per side. I could be wrong, thats what I had in my head, so it could be a load of rubbish. Yeah i got it mate yours sounded mint and looked totally different to everyone elses, stands it apart from the rest a lil bit, yeah Paul mentioned it, im trying to sort it for tommorow as ive still got the end pipes too put on and skirts to cut, yeah they are crazy close its only about an inch away! i tryed turning the heat sheilds first but they arnt wide enough and was fouling on the boxes shame really but a bit of wrap should sort it Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I've looked all over google and never seen it at a show. The fact that the facelift lights aren't different JSpec or UK with the same light layout, I personally think someone had modified your rear lights. Like replacing the lenses for clear ones you can swap them over. I'm pretty sure there are only 2 variations of rear lights from factory the variation was only in the wiring. Mate honestly they are stock. Look at all these other UK spec cars with the same layout. http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/4011173.htm http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/4054611.htm http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/4133288.htm I can only imagine they are laid out this way because of the requirement for a rear fog, so they spaced the tail/brake light one "circle" away from the fog light.
