Indeed. An NA to TT transplant is best option in my opinion.

One thing though...having never driven a tt, is it true that the n/a is the sweeter handler, due to less weight at the front?.....that is something i love about my car as it is...

It's all down to what suspension set up you have tbh mate (i stand to be corrected though)

Just out of interest did you do any research at all on supra's before you got one?

A little...to be honest, I bought it on impulse....and do you know what?...im bloody glad! lol...its awesome....like a ready to go race car...:).....to me, its all just a learning curve.....i am happy to have 'cut my teeth' on a n/a....and i think as an everyday, all year round car, they are fab...i could just sell this one and buy a tt....but do you know what?...i think im in love with my car! lol lol....aaah...im easily pleased!!

I don't think the NA is regarded as having better handling because of a lighter engine or any other reason. Maybe the power's more predictable (linear as you pointed out), but that's it. It's not something the TT guys on here raise as a concern.

All other things being equal the lighter car will handle better and so by default the NA should be better. I think this would show as less understeer ie you could corner at a 'slightly' higher speed. That is after all how Ryan tried to improve his track monster, lighten it and move the TT/singled engine back a bit.

It's never discussed much as the TT power gains outweigh any slight handling differences/benefits
