I have the person go hit mes details. I will be insisting on it being repaired if they write it off I have already said I'm having it back. Rising sun tickets in 3weeks will be wasted but I promise to make a scene at JAE ;)

By worse than that would that be you in your Land rover subtly moving someone else's car with your tow bar??

Should still be through the other drivers insurance for that car too. You had nothing to do with the incident, so therefore your insurance should not be needed. The guy who crashed into yours' insurance should cover both your supra and the other car, as it was all the same incident, and the bus drivers fault. I would give the number of the muppet driver to the other cars owner, and let them deal with their issue seperately.

You have, by law, third part cover (hopefully....) so that will pay for the damage to the other car, (the third party). How you want to handle the damage to your own car is up to you. If you want to pay for the repair yourself, the insurance company will probably be very happy. if you insist they pay, then they MIGHT try and write it off. It's YOUR car (or the finance companies, if it's on finance, I don't know), so how you wish it repaired is up to you. If you wish for your insurance cover to handle it, then you are opening yourself up to negotiations with them, as to how much they will pay, whether it's deemed a write off, if all information regarding it's condition and use was made available when you signed up, blah blah.

Guest Budz86

Feel for you mate! As Chris says really.

Had this happen to me a while ago - repair quote came to £2k ish. The wanted to write it off but I told them what's the point as they were going to give me more than the £2k repair bill. Can't really write a long post at the moment as Im on my phone but give me a call later if you want and Il tell you exactly what happened with me and how I got it sorted.

You should really have had it inspected yourself first dude in case anything important has been damaged.

I have inspected what I can myself. I have taken pictures of all visible damage etx etc only bit I couldn't check was the underneath.

Just for info I wouldn't put your mobile number on a public forum, I have signed you up for a lot of text offers ranging from porn pics to bingo to teach you a valuable lesson.

Budz is already signed up to those anyway !!!
