I can see those QSV things melting / falling apart and going through a turbo. They look a crazy idea to me. At least Toyota made there exhaust diverter valve out of ceramics. There'll only be two people there not worried. Mr TDI taking the dyno time money, and Ryan taking the mapping money :) Good luck everyone.

I must admit im not sure I would want a lump of metal like that in front of my Turbo diverting 800+ degrees exhaust gasses

If its been on the dyno since 10 thats a nice bill Andy is racking up :(

Just think Jamesy waterfalls, running taps and its raining here.

Do you have an empty bottle I have heard you wont have a problem getting little Jamesy through the bottle neck

Is that from personal experience? Or should we not ask? ;)

I thought that turbo would push more, even on stock head/264 cam combo.

Still a lot of power, if it was my car i would flow the head and fit bigger cams, SRD280's, lee's car maxed out at 825whp on 264 cams an all.

I would also bin the qsv, having that big chunk of metal sitting in the housing has got to be a restriction even when open.

Its a pity they dont do a bigger exhaust housing for that turbo, .96 seem a bit small to me for such a big turbo, i have a 1.28 on my car.
